Thought For Today

In the day when I called Thou didst answer me and didst encourage me with strength in my soul!  Psalm 138:3

Lord, I just can’t thank and praise You enough for ALWAYS being with us to help.  Thank You Lord for answering us.  Thank You for giving us the strength and wisdom to fight on.  Thank You for the strength You give us physically and emotionally.  Thank You for the confidence and faith that shows us over and over that You ARE there.  Oh how we praise and thank You today for the peace and joy You are providing in the midst of a buy life.  We love You Lord and thank You.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who according to His ample mercy has given us new birth into a life of hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance imperishable, unsullied, and unfading that is kept safely in heaven for you, who by the power of God are protected through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.  1 Peter 3 – 5

Thank You Lord for these verses that remind us of all You have done for us.  Thank You for the many gifts and blessings we have as Your children.  These verses remind us how much You love us.  Thank You for preparing a home for us to spend all eternity with You.  We love You Lord and thank You for loving us unconditionally.

Give thanks to the God of heaven for His covenant love is everlasting.  Psalm 136:26

Lord I cannot thank You enough for Your everlasting love for me.  Thank You for preparing a place for me in Heaven to dwell with You forever and ever.  Thank You for Your help each day I am here on this earth.  Thank You for Your love that shines Your guiding light brightly for me to follow.  I love You Lord and thank You for Your help today.

For the Lord will vindicate the cause of His people, and will have compassion on His servants.  Psalm 135:14

Thank You Lord for always watching over us.  Thank You that YOU WILL vindicate our cause and have compassion on us.  Thank You for being our Heavenly Father that loves us with an unconditional, everlasting love.  Thank You for loving us when we disappoint You and come running back asking Your forgiveness.  Thank You for being there to pick us up and show us the way again.  We are blessed and we see Your power in our lives over and over and thank You.  Thank You for drawing us close to You today and filling us with Your love and compassion.

Thank YOU Lord for teaching us that YOU have EVERYTHING in control.  Thank You for Your love for us as Your children.  Thank You for inviting us to come to You with our joys and with our sorrows.  You are never too busy to listen to our praises and songs.  Thank You for knowing what is best for our lives.  There are times we don’t understand, and we thank and praise You that You understand and help us see Your gifts and blessings.  You are our ROCK, and we thank and praise You.

As for me, I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.  Psalm 135:5

Today Lord we want to praise and thank You for Your greatness.  Today we want to dwell and thank You all day that we can call YOU, and KNOW, that You ARE above all gods.  Thank You for allowing us to be YOUR child and giving us the privilege to call You our Father.  Thank You for loving us unconditionally and caring about us.  Thank You for sending Your help when we cry out to You.  Thank You for preparing a place for us to live with You forever and ever.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your peace and joy today.  Oh how blessed we truly are and we praise and thank YOU!

Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good: make melody to His name, for it is sweet!  Psalm 135:3

Thank You Lord for the joy and peace that floods my soul when I ‘make melody’ to You.  Thank You for the gift of music in our lives.  Thank You for the difference it can make in our days.  I love they way You bring songs into my life when I wonder what Your answer is for me.  I love the song that pops into my head, and I start singing ‘Thank YOU Jesus.’  Music is a true gift that comes from above and how thankful we can be for that ‘melody’ for truly ‘it is sweet,’ and we thank You.

Turn away my eyes from looking at futilities and revive me in Thy ways.  Confirm to Thy servant what Thou hast said, which is for those who revere Thee.  Psalm 119:37, 38

Lord we thank You for caring about every aspect of our lives.  Thank You for giving us the power to ask and receive.  These verses show us how much You care, and we thank You for them.  Thank You for helping us hear You and know what You want for our life.  We love You Lord and long to be all that You are calling us to be.  Thank You for being our guiding light to bring peace and joy to You and our world.

How can a young man cleanse his way?  By living in agreement with Thy word.  Wholeheartedly I will seek Thee; oh, do not let me stray from Thy commandments!  Psalms 119:9, 10

Thank You Lord for asking us to ask for Your help.  Thank You that our asking is not a burden to You….You have said to us – ‘Come unto me all You that labor and are heavy laden and I will give You rest.’  Thank YOU for the help that You so willing provide when we ask.  There is comfort in hearing You remind us that You see.  You know!  You understand!  You are there working on US as we wait.  Thank You for drawing us closer to You in the midst of the uncertainties of life.  Thank You for showing us Your way today.  What a gift and blessing and we thank You.

Oh that my ways may be established in keeping Thy statues!  Then I shall not be brought to confusion when I respect all Thy commandments.  Psalm 119:5, 6

Thank You Lord for showing us why we need to know what is in our Bibles.  We never know when something in our lives pops up and we need to know what YOU think about it.  Thank You for showing us YOUR way.  Thank You for guiding us.  Thank You for loving us as Your child.  Oh how blessed we are Lord because You love us unconditionally.  Thank You for taking our confusion and showing us the answers.  Thank You for the blessings I feel just by reading these verses.  You are there every step of the way.  I love You Lord and thank and praise You for Your everlasting love for me.
