Thought For Today

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.  Psalm 90:14

Thank You Lord for being with us each morning with Your steadfast love putting a smile on our faces.  Thank You for Your assurance You WILL be with us each moment of the day.  Oh….what peace and joy that starts our day with.  Thank You for the confidence You give us just knowing You are there taking every burden and filling us with joy.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.  Psalms 73:26

Thank You Lord for the peace in our hearts in knowing that we will spend all eternity with YOU.  Thank You for Your continued peace and joy throughout our whole lifetime knowing that FACT.  Thank You that we have nothing to fear for we know the end results when our journey on earth has ended.  We can let come what may knowing that You are with us guiding our pathway straight to a home You have prepared for us.  Oh…how we thank and praise You today for that wonderful gift and promise.

Beloved ones, if God loved us so much, we ought to love one another also.  1 John 4:11

Thank You Lord for immersing us in Your love when we gave our will and our lives over to Your loving care.  Thank You for putting the desire deep within our souls to love as You love.  Oh…how we need to keep our eyes upon You to be able to do that.  Thank You for Your help as we stumble and fall so often.  Thank You that Your unconditional love picks us up and puts us back upon Your pathway showing us the way.  Thank You for showing us once again how to love and be loved.  Thank You for the peace that once again floods our souls.

As for us, the love of God was revealed by the fact that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, so that through Him we might live.  Love is manifested in this, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  1 John 4:8 – 10

Thank You Lord for Your tremendous love.  Thank You for helping us catch a glimpse of the atoning sacrifice You made when You sent Your only begotten Son to earth to die for us.  Thanks You for helping us glean the FACT of what it cost You, Lord, to come and die for OUR SINS.  Our hearts rejoice that some day when our journey on this earth ends we will spend ALL ETERNITY with You.  You the lover of our soul.  You the comforter in the mist of the storms of life.  You that has been with us from the beginning of time and called us Your child when we accepted You into our lives.  Thank You for YOUR PEACE and JOY today as we go forth to share Your love.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love springs from God and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not love does not know God; for God is love.  1 John 4:7

Thank You Lord for this beautiful verse that tells us how much You love us.  Thank You for continuing to work in our lives to help us become more and more loving.  Thank You for teaching us each day of our lives how You want us to live.  Thank You for Your UNCONDITIONAL.   A love that picks me up and loves me in spite of my shortcomings.  A love that loves me just as I am.  A love that changes me moment by moment in a loving way.  Lord, thank You for showing me how to love today.  Thank You for filling me with Your love.

But faith is an assurance of what is hoped for, a conviction of unseen realities.  The men of old gained approval by it.  By faith we understand that the universe was created by God’s command, so what we now see was made out of what cannot be seen.  Hebrews 11:1 – 3

Thank You Lord for giving us the faith to believe.  Thank You for hearing us when we ask for more faith.  We know Lord that nothing is too hard for You and yet so often our faith waivers.  It is then You show us over and over what You can and will do.  Thank You for supplying ALL our needs.  Thank You for often providing us with gifts that we had no idea we would need later on in our walk with You.  Today we want to thank You for our faith…a faith that believed in You and accepted You as our Lord and our Savior.  Thank You for the changes You are making in our lives every day.

Thank You Lord for showing us once again how much You care about us.  Thank You for always watching over us.  It is hard for us to fathom how great Your love is for us.  Our brains just can’t take that all in Lord.  BUT oh, how we thank and praise You today for Your help and protection in our times when we need it the most.  Thank YOU too that NOTHING is too hard for You.  YOU ARE with us and we thank and praise YOU.  Thank You for Your peace and joy that is always there for our taking.

Thank You Lord for being so gracious to us.  Thank You for putting it deep within our hearts to share.  There were many that shared with my family when I was growing up so I understand what a difference it can make.  Thank You for that lesson learned as a little child.  And yes, thank YOU that it has been one I have not forgotten.   Thank You for Your many gifts and blessings today.  I love You Lord and thank and praise You.

When the ways of a man pleases the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at piece with him.  Proverbs 16:7

Thank You Lord for dealing with our enemies so we don’t have to.  Thank You for helping us ALWAYS want to please You.  Thank You for showing, by Your example, how to be pleasing.  You even went to the cross for us and oh what a difference that has made and is making in our lives as we keep our eyes upon You.  Thank You for showing us that life is not an easy ride and we need our eyes always upon You and Your desires for us.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love.
