Thought For Today

How precious to me are Thy thoughts, O God!  How vast is the sum of them!  Psalm 139:17

Thank You Lord for showing us over and over how happy You are to call us Your child.  This verse says it all and we thank and praise You for loving us.  Thank You for guiding and directing our lives today.  Thank You that nothing we encounter today is hard for You to handle.  Thank You for giving us the FAITH to BELIEVE You are in the midst causing all thing to work together for good.  Oh how we love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us today.  Thank You for Your peace and joy and increasing our faith.

Thank You Lord.

I praise Thee because I have been fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous is Thy workmanship, as my soul is well aware.  Psalm 139:14

Thank You Lord for Your reminder of how important we are to You.  Thank You for Your wisdom and understanding when we forget this wonderful verse.  Oh how good it is to know Your scripture and dwell on the fact You give us.  ‘We ARE fearfully and wonderfully made!!!!’  Thank YOU Lord!  Thank You for knowing ALL about us and being with us each moment to help us.  Thank You there is NOTHING too hard for You.  Thank You for loving us enough to flood our souls with peace and joy.  We are blessed because of Your unconditional love, and I thank and praise You.

For there is not a word on my tongue, but Thou, Lord, knowest it perfectly.  Psalm 139:4

Thank You, once again, Lord for showing us that You know everything we speak or think.  This verse reminds me of the song we sang all the time as little children.  Lord, how precious was that to keep our minds full of ways to please You.  ‘Oh be careful little tongue what you say – For the Father up above is looking down in love – so be careful little tongue what you say.’  Thank You Lord for teaching me as a little child to sing these songs that reminded me that You were watching over me and knew all I was doing and saying.  Thank You for teaching me at such a young age to do everything for Your honor and Your glory.  Thank You for blessing me with parents that loved You and taught me to trust You.  Thank You for continuing to teach me.  I love You Lord and thank You for loving me UNCONDITIONALLY in my imperfect walk with You.

Thou hast me in mind when I sit down and when I rise up; Thou diiscernest my thoughts from afar. Psalm 139:2

Thank You Lord for taking me to this chapter in Psalms.  What a blessing this is to stop and think of all we mean to You.  Thank You for being our rock to stand on.  Thank You for knowing us so well that when we cry for Your help You ARE there.  Thanks You too, that when we sing praises to You , You are listening and rejoice in our love for You.  It is hard for us to fathom how much You love us Lord.  We are amazed and oh so thankful.

Thank You Lord for knowing all about me.  Thank You that as Your child You want the best for my life.  Thank You too that there is nothing I can keep secret because You know me.  Thank You that I can be open and honest when I pray because You know everything about me.  Thank You for knowing when I need help and cry out to You.  Thank You for knowing the joys in my life that I am thanking You for.  Thank You for the freedom in knowing You know my every need and my every joy.  Oh…how blessed I am Lord and I thank and praise You.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God.  We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.  God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.  1 John 4:15, 16

Thank You Lord for Your love….an everlasting love….a love that will last all eternity.  Thank You for loving us each and every day whether we are here on earth or in heaven with You.  Thank You for the confidence we can have in knowing that You will be with us through each step we take.  Thank You for the confidence You give us to know that You are guiding and directing our paths.    Oh how we thank You for changing us moment by moment and filing us with YOUR love.

Lord, I love this verse and thank You for giving it to us.  I want to always be reminded, so I have it on my computer to look at all day long while at work.  What comfort and joy it gives us because we know all will be well when we trust in You.  Thank You that we CAN and DO delight ourselves in You.  Today we thank You for all You are providing for us.  Thank You for being our rock.  Thank You for our wisdom and strength.  Thank You for our peace and joy that surpasses all human understanding.  We love You Lord and thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for Your peace.  How blessed we are that we can always have a peaceful life because You have given us that gift.  Thank You for reminding us why our lives are not peaceful so we can ask Your help.  Thank You for only being a prayer away.  Thank You that our hearts are filed with Your peace and joy when we give You our troubles and fears.

Oh how we thank You today Lord for knowing our weaknesses.  This verse says it ALL and yet so often fear strikes us over the unknown.  Thank You for only being a prayer away to calm our fears and bring joy and peace back into our lives.  Thank You for the assurance You are there helping and providing what we need.  Thank You too for loving us and helping us grow to have the confidence in You we need in every situation.  Thank You for the experiences we have had that remind us how You were ALWAYS there.  We love You Lord and thank You for being our rock.

Thank You Lord for being with us no matter where we are or what situation we find ourselves in.  Thank You for the confidence we can have in You when over and over we read in Your scriptures how You are ALWAYS there to help us.  Thank You for listening to our prayers 24/7.  Thank You for Your comfort and peace in the middle of the night when all is quiet, and our minds begin the what ifs.  Oh…Lord…how can we ever thank and praise You enough for saving us.  We love You Lord and thank You for showing us once again how much You love us.
