Thought For Today

The Lord has made known His victory, He has revealed His vindication in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God. Psalms 98:2, 3

Thank You Lord that we too can call You ‘our’ God. Thank You for loving us unconditionally with a steadfast love that knows no end. Thank You for being with us today. We love You Lord.

O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things! His right hand and His Holy arm have gotten Him victory. Psalms 98:1

Thank You Lord for the marvelous things You have done that give us much to sing about. We have the comfort in knowing that You are always with us. You have promised to never leave us or forsake us. Your love is always with us and we thank You. Thank You for this beautiful day to enjoy.

Thank You for Your love Lord. Thank You that Your love is totally unconditional. Thank You for helping us each day do our best for You because of our love for You. Thank You for Your joy today.

Lord ….we bow low and worship You. Thank You for being with us today. Thank You for only being a prayer away. Thank You that there is NOTHING that is too hard for You. Thank You for hearing our prayers and answering them. We love You Lord and thank You for walking with us today and every day. We are never alone. Thank You for Your peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for Your righteousness. Thank You that we can trust You to always be right. Thank You for the guidance You provide us as we look to You. You ARE there and we thank and praise You. We too behold Your glory and thank You.

The Lord reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! Palms 97:1

Lord we too rejoice because You reign. What a comfort it is to know You are in control. Oh, yes Lord ….there are many things we do not understand but in spite of not understand we continue to trust in You because we KNOW You reign. Thank You for today with all its gifts and blessings.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy before the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth. Psalms 96:11 – 13

Lord after reading these verses my thoughts have a totally different focus. Thank You for the heaven that is glad, the earth that rejoices, Thank You for the sea that roars it’s praises to You. Thank You for all the things that fill that ocean that are praising You. What beautiful thoughts as I continue reading and focus on each thing that praises You. It is not only us… Your people … it is everything You created. Each in our own way we worship and praise You. Oh how we thank You. Oh how we praise You.

How wonderful it has been Lord to stop our lives to give thanks for our earthly freedom. A freedom won for us because of much prayer for guidance, direction, and strength. We are thankful for each life that was given to fight for our freedom. We thank You for all those that are still standing guard to maintain our freedom. Thank You for helping each person that cries out to You. Oh how we thank You for answered prayers. Thank You for being with us today.
