Thought For Today

I will offer to Thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord. Psalms 116:17

How wonderful it is Lord to know that You are always there when we give You thanks or when we cry out to You for help. Thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for Your gift of peace that passes all human understand when we are in the middle of a crisis in our lives. You are always there with Your peace and we thank You.

O Lord, I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid. Thou hast loosed my bonds. Psalms 116:16

Lord, You heard the cries of the Psalmist and saved his life. His joy is overflowing as he thanks You for loosing his bond and setting him free.

Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers today. Thank You for the freedom to openly thank and praise You. Thank You for Your peace and joy.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalms 116:15

What a wonderful thought this is Lord. Precious….Yes precious…what a comforting word for a difficult time. ‘Absent from the body is present with the Lord.’ So much comfort in these words because we know You are there to lift the sorrow. Thank You for Your help. Thank You for meeting our every need. We love You Lord and thank You for Your peace that passes all human understanding.

Thank You Lord for giving us faith that continues to trust in You when all looks dark and dreary. Thank You for Your strength to go on. Lord this is exactly what this Psalms is all about. Faith to keep asking. Faith to keep receiving. Faith to go on. Oh how we need faith today Lord. Thank You for being there with our answers. We love You Lord and thank You for Your comfort and Your joy.

The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish. Then I called on the name of the Lord; “O Lord, I beseech Thee, save my life!” Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful. The Lord preserves the simple; when I was brought low, He saved me. Return, O my soul, to Your rest; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. Psalms 116:3 – 7

Thank You Lord for our answered prayers as we cry out to You In desperation. You are always there and You give us the answer that is best for us. We need never be afraid to ask because You ask us to come to You. We love You Lord and thank You.

I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call on Him as long as I live. Psalms 116:1, 2

Thank You Lord for always hearing us when we call out to You. There are times when in desperation we cry out to You and there are times of joy when we rejoice with You.

Thank You Lord that You are there waiting to hear us. Thank You for only being a prayer away.
