Thought For Today

The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron; He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great. Psalms 115:12, 13

Thank You Lord for Your blessings. Thank You for the gift of our lives. Thank You for helping us through each day be it with joy or with sadness. You are there to comfort and You are there to encourage us. Often You send just the right person to encourage us. We have much each day to thank You for.

Thank You Lord.

O Israel, trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. O house of Aaron, put your trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. Psalms 115:9 – 11

Lord….we all can put our names in this verse and know that we can trust in You. O Pat, trust in the Lord. You Lord are MY help and MY shield. Oh Lord how thankful I am for this verse. It is so awesome Lord to know that I can trust You to guide and direct my life. Thank You for Your strength and wisdom today and every day.

Our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see. They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell. They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat. Those who make them are like them; so are all who trust in them. Psalms 115:3 – 8

Thank You Lord for being alive. Thank You for hearing us when we cry out to You. Thank You for seeing us and all our joys and difficult moments. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us.

Thank You Lord for being our rock. Thank You once again for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your peace each day in the midst of all that is going on in the world around us. You are here today and we praise and thank You.

Thank You Lord for the joy You give. We have so much each day to thank You for. Nothing is too small in our lives to thank You for. All are given by You and we thank You. Each day is an exciting day because it is a new adventure. Thank You for being with us for our adventures today.

Thank You Lord for watching over all of us. Over my life time it has been interesting to watch You work in the lives in my own family. Yes, I know from experience how You have raised the poor from the dust. I have watched with my own eyes how You provided for us over and over. You were always there meeting our every need. And most wonderful of all was the love of parents that goes on with all six of us children today. So Lord when I sing the song ‘Our God is an awesome God’ …perhaps that is the reason my voice is the loudest. I truly know what an awesome God You are and I thank You. You are that same Lord today. You are here with each of us and I thank You. Thank You for meeting each of our needs today.

Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever more! From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens! Psalms 113:2 – 5

Lord how thankful we are for Your unconditional love for us. Yesterday we stopped to think about our blessings. Each morning Lord we stop to remember all You have done for us and given us. Our thanks to You continues today. Thank You for being with us today and each moment of our lives.

Lord tomorrow is a day that the world has set aside to think on all we have to be thankful for. I am so glad we don’t have to wait for only one day a year to be thankful. What a beautiful verse this is for it reminds us of Your love for us. Our blessing abound because You are the blessing giver. Thank You for Your peace and joy. Thank You for Your unconditional love.
