Thank You Lord for this beautiful verse. It says it all. We need have no fear because You have given us ‘power, love and a sound mind.’ Our lives have been changed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for these gifts and blessing.

Thank You Lord for this beautiful inspired book written by Paul. The ending says it all. He loved sharing the gospel and he loved his fellow Christians. He wanted Your very best for their lives just as we today want the very best for our fellow believers. Thank You for Your peace today. It is that same peace You gave our fellow Christians in Paul’s day. Oh how blessed we are and we thank and praise You.

Pray for me (Paul), too, ask God to give me the right words as I boldly tell others about the Lord, and as I explain to them that His salvation is for the Gentiles too. I am in chains now for preaching the message from God. But pray that I will keep on speaking out boldly for Him even here in prison as I should. Ephesians 6:19, 20
Thank You Lord for our opportunity to pray for those that ask. Paul was asking prayer while he was in chains for spreading Your word to all that would listen. His request for prayer was not to be released…not to be fed better…not to be able to sleep. NO…his request for prayer was to be a better witness for You and to have the words that would win others to You. Thank You for the lesson it teaches us all. Oh to be like Paul in our zeal for You Lord to let Your light shine through us. It is with Your power working through us that will happen. Oh how we praise and thank You for helping us shine for You today.

Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit’s wishes. Plead with Him, reminding Him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere. Ephesians 6:18
Lord …thank You for the privilege of praying to You ALL the time. Thank You for being there to hear our prayers no matter what time of the day or night it is. You are always there listening and caring. What a gift! What a blessing! Oh how we thank You.

Thanks You Lord for helping us through those hard times when it is very hard to thank You. Paul is reminding us that we are to ‘ALWAYS give thanks for EVERYTHING.’ That takes me really trusting on You Lord. I have to stand on Your verse that tell me that ‘All things….ALL things…work together for good.’ Thank You again Lord for Your help and Your wisdom in those difficult times in my life. You are ALWAYS there and I thank You.

Thank You Lord for family and friends that know You and love You. How wonderful it is to be together and talk about You and Your love for us. Our hearts are blessed and our faith is renewed when we learn how You have been working in others lives. Thank You too for the gift of music and those that can so eloquently sing and share their talents with us. Music is such a beautiful gift in my life Lord and I thank You for it. We have so much to thank You for Lord because You have given us so much.

So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise; make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. Don’t drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path, be filled instead with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him. Ephesians 5:15 – 18
Lord …thank You for Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Certainly these words put us on the pathway You have chosen for us. Our prayer is to ‘be filled with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him.’ Thank You for Your wisdom that helps us do good. We love You Lord and thank You for Your help today.

Thank You Lord for coming to earth and teaching us how to live. The more we read Your scriptures and let it soak into our thoughts and hearts the more we see how to live like You. It is because You desire to have a relationship with us that our lives are changed into Your likeness. Our thoughts and motives are totally changed when it is OUR desire to be more like You. Oh how blessed we are that You are there teaching us and changing us. Oh how we thank You.
