Thought For Today

So we do not look at what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Thank You Lord for the peace You give us when we think about spending all eternity with You. How blessed we are Lord to have You walking with us each step of the way each day. We are never without Your presence. We are never without You unconditional love. Oh how we praise and thank You.

Oh Lord what miracles You do! And how deep are Your thoughts. Psalms 92:5

Thank You Lord for the miracles You do. Every day we see them all around us. I often wonder Lord how many I miss every day. I pray to have my eyes opened to see and experience more and more of them. Thank You that You do great things in our lives. Sometimes we realize what You are doing but oh so often we never know or perhaps they are shown to us years down the road. Gifts from You Lord…. Thank You for Your many blessings today.

Sing His praises accompanied from the harp and lute and lyre. You have done so much for me, O Lord. No wonder I am glad! I sing for joy. Psalms 91:3 – 5

Thank You Lord for voices to sing. Thank You for the opportunities to sing Your praises with others that love You too. Help us to see the peace and tranquility that You are providing all around us. Thank You for Your joy. Thank You that because You are Lord of our lives we can be glad for this beautiful day.

Every morning tell Him, “Thank You for Your kindness, and every evening rejoice in all Your faithfulness. Psalms 92:2

Lord we certainly do thank You each morning for Your kindness. A kindness that never ends. A kindness that sees us all the time and still loves us. And then when evening comes we rejoice in another day. Thank You for another wonderful day today Lord.

This is the day that the Lord has made; rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24

Yesterday I had the chorus we used to sing in my Thought for Today. My brother sent me the verse and scripture where that song was taken from. It is a wonderful little chorus to sing and remember the goodness of the Lord each day.

Thank You Lord for another day You so graciously have given us. Once again we need to look around and see all the blessings that are ours because of Your unconditional love for us. Oh how we do thank and praise You for today. Because of Your love for us and the joy in living a life pleasing to You we CAN ‘rejoice and be glad in it.’

Thank You Lord for ‘satisfying us with a good life.’ We are given a lifetime to learn to trust in You. With each trial we are drawn closer to You. You are our rock. We can trust You and believe You even when everything in life is falling apart. You are there meeting each need. Thank You for giving us Your salvation. We KNOW we will spend ALL eternity with You. What a gift and blessing,

For He orders His angels to protect you wherever you go. They will steady you with their hands to keep you from stumbling against the rocks on the trail. Psalms 91:11, 12

Thank You Lord for not only watching over us and protecting us but You also send Your angels to help us. How blessed we are and how safe we can feel knowing that You are providing us with just what we need each moment of every day. We have nothing to fear for Your love surrounds us. Oh how we thank and praise You. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us.
