Thought For Today

The heavens are telling the glory of God; they are a marvelous display of His craftsmanship. Day and night they keep on telling about God. Without a sound or word, silent in the skies, their message reaches out to all the world. Psalms 19:1 – 3

Lord who but You could give us so much beauty day and night. Oh how we thank and praise You. Thank You for the peace that comes when we sit quietly in nature and listen to Your still small voice within. Just one of the gifts You have given us to enjoy. We thank and praise You for the many, many gift that You have provided. Thank You for today Lord…another day to love and worship You.

Lord thank You for being my Rock and my Redeemer. Thank You for always listening when we pray. It is so comforting to know that You are always there for us. Thank You for another day to love and serve You.

Thank You Lord for wanting to bless Your children. We thank You for the beauty on this earth. Right now the large white pelicans are on the river fishing. What a beautiful creation we get to enjoy until they migrate through. This is just one of the joys given by You that shows Your love for us. Thank You for Your many blessings that we will experience today. They are all around us Lord and we thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for Your love and Your peace that is with us every moment of every day and night. Thank You for Your compassion that helps us through each difficult moment. Thank You for drawing us even closer to You through our trials in life. Our lives are transformed moment by moment because of You Lord and we thank You.

So we do not look at what we can see right now, the trouble all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joy to come will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Thank You Lord for helping us in our days of despair to understand and thank You for Your presence with us. You remind us that heaven is our home and our earthly trials will be over and in their place will be the joys in heaven that will last forever and ever. Oh how we thank You and see why You continue to remind us to rejoice and be at peace. Thank You for being with us each moment of today. We love You Lord and thank You for Your peace and joy.
