Thought For Today

Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.  In my Father’s house are many dwelling places.  If this were not so, I would have told you.  For I am going away to prepare a place for You.  John 14:1, 2

Thank You Lord that our hearts can rejoice because we have a living Savior.  Thank You for leaving this earth physically and sending the Holy Spirit to dwell within us.  We love You Lord and look forward to spending all eternity with You when our days are finished on this earth.  Thank You for going to prepare a place for us, and the joy we have in knowing that FACT while we are here on earth.  Thank You for going to the cross for us.  Today our heads are bowed, and our hearts are heavy as we think of all You endured for us.  BUT Sunday is coming, and our hearts will be filled once again with Your joy and Your peace as we thank YOU for preparing an eternal home with You for each of us that love and worship YOU.  Oh how we praise and thank You Lord Jesus for loving us.

Jesus said – So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”  John 16:22

Thank You Lord for the peace in our hearts when we read this verse.  Thank You that we know the end of this story.  Thank You that You are in heaven waiting our arrival after we have finished what You have for us to do here upon this earth.  Thank You for walking and talking with us as we are here listening to Your guidance.  Thank You for helping us realize the price You paid for us to spend our lives here on earth and in heaven with You.  We love You Lord and thank YOU for the price You paid on the cross for us.  Thank YOU Lord for dying to give us life.  Oh, how blessed we are and we thank YOU!

Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence perpetually.  Psalms 104:4

Thank You Lord for YOUR strength and YOUR presence in our lives.  Thank You for the blessings that are ours when we seek You and know Your presence is with us.  It is times like that Lord when we don’t want to move for we know we are right there with You.  Thank You for calling us all to ‘seek YOUR presence’ and keep seeking it.  Thank You for calling us to ‘ask and we WILL receive.’  Thank You for wanting to bless us and give us strength, and all we need to do is ASK and we WILL receive.  Thank You for giving us Your peace and Your joy today as we keep our eyes upon all You are calling us to be.

Glory ye in His holy name; may the heart of the Lord’s worshippers be joyful.  Psalm 105:3

Thank You Lord for the joy You give us.  Thank You that it is a joy that never leaves us.  Thank You for Your comfort when we are sad and need Your arms of love and strength around us.  You are ALWAYS there, and we thank You.  Thank You for helping us through this day and filling us full of Your peace and JOY.  Thank You for giving us a peace that the world cannot give.  Oh, how we thank and praise Your Holy Name.  We have it ALL Lord.  You are awesome!!!

Bless the Lord, all you His armies, you His servants who continually do what pleases Him!  Bless the Lord, all His works in all places of His dominion!  Bless the Lord, O my soul!  Psalm 103:21, 22

Oh Lord, we do bless Your name and thank You for being our Lord and our Savior.  Thank You for keeping our eyes and thoughts upon You and Your call upon our lives.  Thank You for Your JOY and Your PEACE when we listen and obey.  Thank You that nothing is too hard for You when we think we can’t do it for You.  Thank You for holding our hand and walking us through life together.  We love You Lord and thank YOU for being with us today.

Bless the Lord, you His angels who abound with strength, who carry out His orders listening to the sound of His Word!  Psalm 103:20

Thank You Lord for Your wisdom and Your knowledge.  Thank You for thinking of all things needed when You created us and our earth to live in.  Thank You for angels that love You and worship You.  Thank You for showing us what they are like in this verse ….’abound with strength, who carry out Your orders and listen closely to what You are asking them to do.‘  What a great example they are for us as we read in scripture the blessing they have been to many.  Thank You for all Your provisions for us as Your children that love and worship You.  We love You Lord and thank and praise You for Your wonderful gifts to us.

Praise ye the Lord!  Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty firmament!  Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excelling greatness!  Psalm 150:1, 2

Thank You Lord for all You are to us.  Thank You for being with us at this very moment.  Oh how we love You and thank You for all the blessings You have given us.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love.  Thank You that there is nothing to hard for You.  Thank You that ‘nothing’ includes our emotions that are so often shaken today.  Thank You that Your love for us goes beyond anything we could ask or think.  You ARE with us ALWAYS and we thank and praise You.   Blessings are ours because of You and OH, how  we love to thank and praise You.

The Lord has established HIS throne in heaven, and HIS kingdom rules over all.  Psalm 103:19

Thank You Lord for verses like this that calm our hearts as we trust You.  Thank You for Your ‘throne in heaven.’  Thank You for knowing all and seeing all and preparing a place for us to dwell with You forever.  Thank You for giving us the trust we need to live each day while we are on Your beautiful earth.  As we read these words today our hearts rejoice with You for all You have planned for us.  Thank You for YOUR peace and joy today.

As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord tenderly sympathizes with those who revere Him.  Psalm 103:13

Thank You Lord for Your compassion and Your tender sympathy.  We love You Lord and are so grateful You are always with us to bring comfort and sympathy.  Thank You for Your help to those that have not had the loving father I had.  Thank YOU for those You bring into their lives to help them realize how loving You are.  We love You Lord and thank You for giving us Your peace and joy in the midst of the storms of life.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, patiently considerate and abounding in mercy.  Psalm 103:8

Lord how we praise and thank You for these wonderful qualities.  Thank You for teaching us how to be like You because these are qualities that we that love You desire.  Oh to be like You Lord in all we do or say.  Thank You for loving us unconditional while we are learning to become all that You desire us to be.  We love You Lord and thank You today for all we are learning while we keep our eyes upon You.
