Thought For Today

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Lord I have always loved this verse. Thank You for showing us who You are. Thank You for being our SOURCE. It is such a beautiful picture to me of the grape vines that are full of grapes because they stay attached to the vine. Without the vine there would be no grapes. The more perfect the vine is the more fruit there is on those vines. With just the right sunshine, nutrients and water the fruit flourishes. That is just like us Lord. The more we stay close to You and listen to You and obey You the more You can use us to bear fruit for You. How blessed we are that this is what YOU want for each of our lives. You wait for us with open arms to help us grow and change into Your likeness. Thank You Lord for caring so much about us. Your unconditional love is amazing and I praise and thank You.

Thank You Lord for telling us exactly who and what You are. You created the earth and You created the people that are on this earth. You will come back some day to take those that love You and worship You to heaven to dwell with You forever and ever. What a day that will be for all of us that love You. Thank You for not leaving us in the world we live in today without providing Your help and guidance while we are here. You gave us the Holy Spirit as our comforter to show us Your way. Oh how we praise and thank You today for the joy and peace that only You can give.

Lord how we thank and praise YOU today for the wonderful gifts You provide for us each and every day. We know that when You come for us…. be it in the air when You return to get us on this earth…. or when our earthy bodies die… that we will be in heaven…. and it will be heaven…. with You forever and ever. For today…the best thing You are leaving us is Your unconditional love and Your peace that passes all human understanding. We are given the opportunity to reach out and accept Your peace in the midst of the storms of our lives and how we thank You and praise You for the joy and peace that only You can give that totally satisfies us forever and ever. It is amazing and how I thank You for it. So many things to praise You for today Lord and we do praise and thank You. Thank You for Your peace this very moment.

Thank You Lord for coming to die for us so that we can live eternally with You. What a price You paid for our ransom. Oh how we humbly bow as we praise and thank You today.

Thank You for using each of us to spread Your love to a world that needs Your love so badly. Thank You for letting Your light shine through each of us as we ourselves draw closer to You.

Thank You for Your peace and joy today. Oh how we love You and thank You.

Thanks You Lord for this beautiful verse. Thank You that we find ‘favor from YOU and we also find life.’ AND that life is a more abundant life because You lead and direct our path. You show us what is best for our lives and give us the strength and endurance we need. You are always with us and never leave or forsake us. You teach us as we go through hard trials with us never giving us more than we can bear. Oh the blessings and gifts are many and we thank and praise YOU for each one. We are blessed beyond belief and can never thank You enough. Thank You. Thank You. Thank YOU.

God has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. 2 Timothy 1:9

Thank You Lord that we didn’t have to be good enough or do anything special for You to call us to a ‘holy life.’ Thank You for having arms wide open to receive us just as we were. We didn’t have to try to be better You took us just as we were because of Your ‘own purpose and grace.’ AND this was Your plan for us from the very beginning of time. How blessed we have always been and will continue to be for all eternity. Moment by Moment YOU change us into Your image. Moment by Moment YOU fill us with Your love. Oh how we thank and praise You for those wonderful changes in our lives.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

Thank You Lord for giving us the gift of HOPE! There is something about HOPE that brings us a bit of excitement. Something to look forward to enjoying. Something to hold on to when things aren’t as bright as we would like them to be. A GOD excitement it seems. Thank You for being the ‘God of HOPE.’ It is YOU ‘the God of HOPE’ that fills us with all joy and peace when we believe. What a wonderful gift of love that is free and there for our taking. Oh how we thank and praise You for Your joy and peace today.

Thank You for this verse today Lord. It seem on most days I have to remind myself to STAY IN TODAY. You will be there in the tomorrows. You have never failed to help and guide me come what may on each and every day of my life. Oh how I then thank and praise You for who You are and what You have planned for my life. Thank You for being with me this whole day and shedding Your light upon my pathway. I love You Lord and thank and praise You for loving me with a love that is unconditional.

Thank You Lord for being our Lord and our Savior. Thank You for being MY Lord and MY Savior. How blessed I am to walk and talk with You every day. Thank You for listening when I praise and thank You and also when I cry out to You for help and comfort. Peace is mine in the midst of the storms because of You. Often a night’s prayers brings JOY in the morning. How blessed I am and I thank You.

God is our refuge and strength, a help always near in times of great trouble. Psalms 46:7

Thank You Lord for ALWAYS being with us. We would love to always be on the mountain top with You. When we are there our world is calm and we feel Your presence so vividly. Oh how we praise and thank You for those precious moment. Thank You that You are also right there with us when there are ‘times of great trouble.’ Lord we so appreciate the FACT and it is a FACT because You remind us over and over that You will never leave us or forsake us. Thank You for being our ‘refuge and strength.’ We love You Lord and thank You for ALWAYS being there for us.
