Thought For Today

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. Psalms 34:19

Thank You Lord for the peace You provide us when things happen in our lives that we don’t like and we don’t understand. The good news is we know that YOU know and we know that You WILL deliver us some way. Thank You for the many times I have seen You at work in my life to help me through challenges when I had no idea what to do. You so often sent that perfect person to not only help me but encourage me in my faith to continue to trust You. Thank You for people that give us hope. Thank You for Your everlasting love for us Lord. Oh how blessed we are because of Your unconditional love. We love You Lord and thank and praise You.

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. Lamentations 3:25

Lord we thank You that when we seek You we find You. Thank You for the many promises we find in Your scriptures that tell us over and over how blessed we are that seek after You. You tell us to ‘knock …and the door will be opened.’ You are waiting for us. I love the painting Lord that shows You outside waiting for us. The outside of the door has no handle. The only handle is the one on the inside that You wait for us to open. You are waiting and will show us the way. It is our decision to let You in. AND when we do that ‘The Lord is GOOD to those who wait for HIM, to the soul who seeks HIM.’

Thank YOU for YOUR goodness to us today. Thank You for meeting our every need. Thank You for putting a smile on our face and joy in our heart. We love You Lord and praise and thank You.

Thank You Lord for the confidence You give us when we follow Your leading in our lives. There have been times in my life when I have questioned You but have had to say ‘not MY will but YOUR will Lord.’ I knew You knew far more than I knew at that moment. You knew the beginning and the end and what was best for my life. Thank You for helping me listen and obey. Thank You for loving me and being with me each moment of every day and each step of the way. There is nothing too hard for You. I thank You for open eyes that allow me to see the miracles only You could provide as I trust in You. Thank You for Your peace today.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out to our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5

Thanks You Lord for the ‘love of God that has been poured out to our hearts.’ And oh what a love that is. A love that is a comfort with us and a love we want to share with the world around us. There is nothing …. NOTHING … like Your love Lord and oh how we need it and thank You for it. Your love is an everlasting unconditional love that never ends. It is ours for the taking. Oh how we thank and praise You for Your love today.

It is Your joy that floods our souls as we keep our lives focused upon You. Thank You for taking our fears and replacing them with faith and trust in You. Thank You Lord for knowing all about us. Thank You for knowing what is best for our lives. As our Father You see all and know all. You know what will help us grow and change into the person You have created us to be. Thank You for giving us the gift of prayer…talking with You. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us. Thank You for giving us Your peace and Your joy today.

Lord…we as Your children love to praise and thank You for all our gifts and blessings You provide for us each day. Thank You for reminding us often in Your scriptures how much there is to thank You for. We give You all the praise and glory. Each breath we take is because You have allowed us to live one more moment on this earth and we thank You. Thank You for giving us a purpose for living. Each moment of every day You are drawing us closer and closer to You and changing us moment by moment into You likeness as we seek to know You better and better. So many gift and blessing Lord that we so often take for granted and forget to stop and thank You. Today we want to think of all these areas we forget to thank You for and give YOU all the praise and glory for our blessings. We love You Lord and thank You.

Thank You Lord for a beautiful Easter celebration. It is because You came to earth that we can rejoice. For it truly is by Your grace that we have been saved by turning our will and our lives over to You. Thank You for the faith to believe and trust You. Thank You for helping us continue to have the desire to become more and more like You. Oh the peace and joy that are ours as we keep our eyes focused on You and what YOU want for our lives. Thank You for calming our fears and filling us with Your love and Your peace. Oh how we love You Lord and thank You.

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as tough some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s suffering, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12, 13

Thank You Lord for helping us through each ‘fiery trial.’ We are NEVER without Your unconditional love. Yes…You too suffered while here on earth just as we so often have suffered. Your suffering didn’t last and neither will ours. In the end of our lives we too will ‘also be glad with exceeding joy’ as we spend all eternity with You. Thank You for Your peace and joy today that only You can give even when we are in the midst of those ‘fiery trials.’ We love You Lord and look forward to a day of blessings filled with Your love. Open our eyes wide open to see all the gifts that are ours because of Your love for us today. Oh how we praise and thank You for being with us each moment of today.

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” Jeremiah 32:

Lord …. I love reading scriptures like this one. I love it when You tell us who You are and what You do. You ARE the ‘Lord, the God of ALL flesh!’ NO there is NOTHING ‘too hard for YOU.’ We as believers know that Lord because we have experienced those gifts and blessing in our own lives and in the lives of those we love and know. We have the assurance You are with us helping us through life every step of the way. You have also promised us that there is nothing that together we can’t get through. What a tremendous strength that is as we walk through hard places in our lives. We KNOW You ARE with us. We KNOW You see and understand. We KNOW You will take us through and in the process bring us even closer to You. Oh what a Savior we have and we thank and praise You for each gift and each blessing.
