Thought For Today

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence; it carries a rich reward. For you need endurance to gain the promised blessing upon accomplishing what God wills. Hebrews 10:35, 36

Thank You Lord for giving us the confidence in You that YOU will help us through each trial. We are never alone in our struggles in life. You are always with us to encourage us and help us become stronger in our walk with You. Thank You for allowing us to be here to draw closer to You and to accomplish Your will for us. Thank You for the tremendous joy and peace that only Your love for us can provide. We love You Lord and praise and thank You for all You are doing and have done for us.

Finally, brother and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Philippians 4:8

Thank You Lord for giving us so many things to be thankful for. You have truly blessed us with a beautiful earth to live in. It is wonderful to look around and smell the air as the beautiful lilacs are blooming. There is beautify all around us with the flowers and trees in full bloom. The birds are flying around building their nests and making sure with their scolding chirps that we stay away. So many wonderful gifts Lord that are free to take in each day.

Thank You too for the friends and family that are always there for us with their support and prayers. Oh how we need one another and what a gift we can be to each other. Thank You for making us social people as we use that term today. We love and we are love because that is how You made us.

Thank You Lord for YOUR unconditional love for us each moment of our day. Over and over You remind us how much You love us and we thank You. Your strength, wisdom and guidance are with us today. Thank You that we are always provided with everything we need to have peace and joy today. We love You Lord and thank You for all these gifts and blessing and the millions more that are not mentioned.

Lord again today we want to praise and thank You for who and what You are to each one of us. Thank You for being our Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You too for wanting the very best for those of us that love You. Thank You for calling each of us to draw closer to You. Thank You for Your peace and joy today. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6, 7

Thank You Lord for showing us in this verse that the trials in our lives have meaning. Yes, there is a purpose in each one of them….’that the genuineness of our faith…being tested by fire….will still praise, honor and glory in who You are.’ Thank You Lord for helping us through each trial because You know how hard they are for us to go through them. There are some of them we never get through and leave this earth with them to meet You. Thank You for using them in our lives to bring us closer to You. Thank You for giving us a PEACE that passes all understanding. We love You Lord and thank You for helping us become all that You have called us to be. Thank You for Your joy and peace today.

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him to help you do it and He will. Psalms 37:5

Thank You Lord for this reminder today. We know that is so true but often it is so hard to live through the things that are going on in our lives. It is so easy to wonder what in the world is this all about and how could this ever bring us closer to You. Yes as Your scripture tells us …we may NEVER understand BUT we simply have to trust Your will. Trust….Trust…Trust…. We know that You know and You love us and want Your very best for our lives. It takes Your reminders to keep us on track and that is why we need to hear Your words over and over. Today we hear You Lord and thank You for always walking with us. You are with us this very moment loving us unconditionally. Teaching us to be more forgiving….more compassionate…more caring…more loving. Loving as You love ….unconditionally. Thank You for our lessons Lord and Your help and guidance through each one. With a smile on our face and love for You in our hearts today will be full of peace and joy. Oh how we thank You.

Lord how grateful we are for the rest only You can provide. It is a wonderful miracle when we give You our cares and concerns of the day. You take them and in their place You give us peace and joy. Thank You for reminding us when we begin to struggle with issues that You are there waiting to help. Thank You for only being a prayer away. Oh how blessed we are to have a living Savior that loves us and wants the very best for our live. Thank You for calming our hearts today Lord and giving us Your peace.

Thank You Lord for Your renewed strength. Oh how great it is to know that You are with us to help us make it with peace in our hearts even when the going gets tough. This verse is so vivid in all that You are providing for us each day. All of this is ours as we wait upon You. Thank You for hearing our prayers. Thank You for already having our answers. Thank You for calling us on to become more and more like You. We love You Lord and thank You for Your strength today.

Oh Lord…How wonderful it is when You change our sadness to JOY. Yes there are times in our lives when we will grieve. AND we all know that grieving is a process as we move through it. Thank You for helping us move THROUGH those times in our lives that we all will experience and not get stuck getting through them. Thank You for assuring us that You know and You see our sadness and pain. Thank You for helping us become stronger and stronger with each passing moment. Thank You for helping us sing praises to You once again and move on in our lives. And Lord like this verse reminds us ..we too want to give thanks to You FOREVER. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for Your peace today.

Thank You Lord for Your gift of faith. A faith that knows who You are and trusts You. Your love for us is a love that wants the very best for our lives. You created us. You made us who and what we are. You are constantly calling us to become more and more like You. It is Your power that helps us carry out what You created us to be.
