Thought For Today

And now these three remain; faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. ! Corinthians 13:13

Thanks You Lord for this beautiful verse. When we think of these thing separately it puts a smile upon our face. Today we can have all three – Faith – Hope and the greatest of all LOVE. Your love for us is the perfect example of Unconditional love. We all want to be like You and follow that example. Hard as I try I fall very short. I pray and ask and yet I still find there are areas in my life where I fall very short. Thank You for opening my eyes and showing me how to become better and more like You. This is truly the greatest gift we can personally give to the world. I love the song …. And they will know we are Christians by our love …by our love … and they will know we are Christians by our love. Oh how blessed we are because of Your love. Thank You for giving Your all to teach us how to love. What a gift! What a blessing. We thank and praise You and humbly bow.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. Psalms 28:7

Lord how we thank and praise You for all You have done and are going to do in our lives. The words ‘and I am helped’ jumped right out at me as I read this verse. How I thank and praise You Lord for always being there to ‘help ‘ me. Thank You for only being a prayer away. Thank You that I can call out You name ‘Jesus’ and know that You hear and will answer. Oh yes, I have to admit to something You already know …I am Your child that wants everything immediately. And Lord You know that isn’t always the best for me. You want to draw me closer to You so that I depend more on You….so the answers don’t come in an instant. It is then the process of refining my walk with You continues. Yes as this scripture reminds me ….’my heart greatly rejoices and with my song I praise You.’ Thank You for songs….oh how I love them. Thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for my peace and joy. Thank You for showing me YOUR way and helping me to walk in it.

Jesus replied, “I am the Bread of life. He who comes to me will never hunger and he who believes in me will never thirst. John 6:35

Thank You Lord for giving us all we need. You not only meet our spiritual needs You care about everything about us. In this verse You are reminding us that You are truly the BREAD of life. We need never be hungry physically or spiritually. You are our loving Father that wants to meet our every need. You want to give us Your peace in the storms of life. You help us through those moments when we don’t understand life and the curves it is throwing us. Oh how we thank and praise You for being our rock.

The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. 2 Timothy 4:18

Thank You Lord for all we have to look forward to when our journey on this earth has ended. Over and over You keep reminding us of the joy that awaits us. BUT it is not only the joy we have to look forward to You also remind us that You WILL take care of us while here on this earth. ‘The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom.’ We can rest assured that You ARE taking care of us each and every moment of every day. We have so much to thank and praise You for Lord. Oh how we love You and thank You. Thank You for Your peace today that certainly passes all human understand. It is there for us every moment of every day and we thank You.

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18, 19

Thank You Lord for our many gifts and blessings. We never know Lord what You have planned for our lives until we live it moment by moment. There is one thing that we do know and that is that You will be with us every step of our journey. You were with the Israelites all those years ago and You will continue to be with us today. You reminded them ‘I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.’ These were certainly miracles that brought joy into their lives. You are that same loving God today that wants our lives to be full of Your peace and Your joy. Oh how we thank You for blessing us today.

Thank You Lord for Your unconditional love for us today. Thank You for being in heaven with a place for us to dwell with You forever. Thank You for the tremendous price You paid for us when You died upon the cross for us. There are times in our lives when we have tremendous struggles and then we remember the rewards that are ours when we will spend all eternity with You. You will wipe away every tear. Our bodies will be whole again. Oh how we praise and thank You that we WILL ‘remain forever’ with You.

Thank You Lord for Your wisdom and knowledge. All that wisdom and knowledge is available to us if we ask. Here in this verse we are reminded that when we call upon You ….. You ‘will answer.’ AND you will show us great and might things that we don’t know anything about. Thank You for giving us insights into situations in amazing ways. What a wonderful gift it is to be able to come to You in prayer and ask for answer. Thank You Lord for Your wisdom and Your knowledge that is ours because we love You and are listening. Thank You for being with us each moment today. We love You Lord and thank You for Your peace and joy.

Lord how we thank You today for knowing all about us. We have nothing hidden from You. You know our strengths and You know our weaknesses. Thank You for Your unconditional love. Keep persevering in prayer; attend to it diligently with the offering of thanks. Colossians 4:2

Thank You Lord for prayer. Thank You that we can go to You day and night because You are with us and never leave us. How blessed we are in the quiet moments of the night when sleep is allusive that You are there listening. We can thank and praise You for the joys in our lives that You have blessed us with. We can remember our friends and family that are going through times when they need prayer. We can ask You for direction in our lives. Thank You for being there for us every moment of the day and night. You ae our rock. You are our strength. You are our wisdom You are our comforter. You give us peace and joy and a BIG smile on our face. Oh how we praise and thank You. Oh how blessed we truly are because of You.
