When the wine failed, (at the wedding) the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” John 2:3

Thank You Lord for the love Mary had for her Son Jesus.

Thank You that she believed in Him.

Thank You that she knew what He was capable of.

Thank You for my own mother and the love she had for me.

Thank You for the love she had for You Lord.

Thank You for her life and the example she was for me.

I was so fortunate to have her Lord.

Thank You Lord.

On the third day there was a marriage at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; Jesus also was invited to the marriage, with His disciples. John 2: 1, 2

Lord this is such a wonderful story. I have read it, taught it to children and marveled at it. It brings out Your love and compassion for others. It is Your first miracle.

Thank You Lord that You are in every part of our lives.

Thank You for going to this wedding.

Thank You for taking Your disciples with You.

Thank You for the joy of being with Your mother that You loved so much.

You were human Lord and yet You were divine.

Thank You for Your life that teaches us so much.

Thank You Lord.

And He (Jesus) said to him, (Nathanael) “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” John 1:51

Faith. Faith that believes and knows that nothing is impossible with You Lord. That is what You were telling Nathanael. What must Nathanael have thought Lord as he looked You in the eye while You were talking. He believed in You. He knew You were for real.

Thank You Lord for discernment.

What a gift that is Lord to be able to tell when something is for real.

Thank You that Nathanael knew You and there were no doubts in his mind as to who You were.

Thank You that we too can know You and have no doubts in our minds.

Thank You for making Yourself real to us.

Another of Your wonderful gifts to us humans Lord.

Thank You. Thank You Lord.

Jesus answered him, (Nathanael) “Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things then these.” John 1:50

Lord how Nathanael must have wondered what he was going to see. He knew there was no way you could have seen him under the fig tree so what greater than that was going to happen.

Thank You Lord for the excitement You bring with You.

Thank You that as we read the scriptures we marvel at what happened and how lives were changed.

Lord thank You for the lives that are changed today.

Thank You for the joy You bring today.

Thank You that in the midst of darkness You bring light.

Oh how blessed we are.

Thank You Lord.

Nathanael answered Him, (Jesus) “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” John 1:49

Lord thank You for allowing us to see You for who You are.

Thank You for touching our lives and changing us from the inside out.

Thank You for the love that swells up within us as we see You for who You are.

We are changed. We are made whole.

Thank You Lord.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!” John 1:47

Thanks You Lord that You always see us when we come to You.

Thank You that You know all about us.

Thank You for knowing us so well that You know what we need when we need it.

Thank You for asking us to come to You to find rest.

Thank You for the joy in knowing and serving You.

Thank You Lord.

Nathanael said to him, (Philip) “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth ?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” John 1:46

Thank You Lord for eyes to see.

Thank You for discernment.

Thank You for persistence.

Thank You for faith.

Thank You for Philip and his faith in You.

Thank You that he knew You because he was anticipating Your arrival.

We have so much to praise and thank You for Lord.

Thank You Lord.

Now Philip was from Bethsaida , the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” John 1:44, 45

Thank You Lord for those that care about us and bring us to You or bring us closer to You.

Thank You for the joy that being able to share You with a friend brings.

Thank You for the gift of enthusiasm.

Thank You for the inner desire to serve You and share our knowledge of You with others.

Oh Lord our prayer is to become more and more like you.

Thank You for making that prayer a reality in our lives as we keep our eyes focused upon You.

Thank You Lord.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee . And he found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” John 1:43

Lord thank You for Your call to each of us to ‘follow You.’

What a privilege it is to sit at Your feet and listen.

Thank You for walking and talking with us each moment of every day.

What a gift!!!

Thank You Lord.

He (Andrew) brought him (Simon) to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter). John 1:42

Thank You for always having a better plan for our lives than we could ever imagine.

Thanks You for calling us to Yourself.

Thank You that with Your help Lord we will keep our eyes fixed upon You.
