They said to him, (the blind man that Jesus healed) “Where is He? (Jesus) He said, “I do not know.” John 9:12
Where were You Lord? You told the man to go and wash in the pool and he would see. When they asked where You were he said he did not know. Did he even have an opportunity to go back and thank You for his healing? There is so much more of the story I would love to know. BUT the fact remains that this man was blind and now he could see. He was healed.
Thank You Lord for healing.
Thank You for the many ways we are healed today.
Thank You for the wisdom You have given so many that are in the health care field.
Thank You for the spiritual healers that bring Your healing to us.
Thank You for answered prayers when we cry out for help.
You are there Lord ….we know You are there. We feel Your touch. Thank You!
Thank You Lord.

They (crowd) said to him, (blind man that was healed) “Where is He (Jesus)?” He said, “I do not know.” John 9:12
Lord how interesting that You didn’t stay around to wait and see if the healing would really happen. You knew the blind man would see as soon as he obeyed what You asked him to do.
Thank You Lord that those gifts are ours today too.
So often in scripture You say to us – trust – keep Your eyes upon me.
Ah Lord the healing comes because the anxiety goes.
Thank You for the many gifts we are given when we truly trust and obey.
Thank You! Thank You Lord.

They (crowd) said to him, (blind man that was healed) “Then how were your eyes opened?” He answered, “The Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash’; so I went and washed and received my sight.” John 9:10, 11
Thank You Lord that You have our lives in Your hands.
Thank You for Your healing both spiritual and physical.
Thank You for knowing all about us and what is best for our lives.
You are our rock and I thank You.
Thank You Lord.

Some said, “It is he” (the blind man) others said, “No, but he is like him.” He said, “I am the man.” John 9:9
Lord these people had seen this man sitting begging because he was blind. Now all of a sudden he is up walking around just as they were. No wonder they could not believe their eyes and thought it surly could not have been him. How exciting it must have been for him when he said – ‘I am the man.’ Wow!
Lord in thinking what that would be like today and how I would react I would be no different than these people were that saw this man.
First I would wonder if it was the same person just as some of these people did.
Then the excitement for the healing would begin. The word would spread quickly. Everyone would want to be in Your presence. They would want to see what You would do next. So….the crowds followed You waiting….and watching.
Thank You Lord that You are the same today.
Thank You for our lives and the miracles they are each day.
Oh how blessed we are too just like this blind man. You touch our lives and You change us moment by moment into Your likeness.
Thank You Lord! Thank You.

(The story continues about the blind man and Jesus) The neighbors and those who had seen him (blind man) before as a beggar said, “Is not this the man who used to sit and beg?” John 9:8
Lord it is no wonder that the word spread so quickly about You. Here was a man that was blind and begging and now he could see. His life was changed by You because of the physical healing.
Lord thank You that You are always there for us.
Thank You that You see our needs and answer us.
Oh I know Lord many of the answers You have given me I didn’t feel were the best for me but that was because I can’t see what You can see for my life. Needless to say I am grateful that You know all things. You are always there with Your wisdom and strength. Thank You for ALWAYS being with me Lord. Thank You for Your help.
I have to say over and over with a very grateful heart. ….. Thank You Lord.

As He (Jesus) said this, He spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle and anointed the (blind) man’s eyes with the clay, saying to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing. John 9:6, 7
Lord the things that You did while You were on this earth were amazing. Here we are reading that You gave this blind man his sight. Also we see how the man obeyed You and didn’t stop to wonder what anyone would think. He went and did exactly what You asked him to do.
Thank You Lord for helping us be what You are calling us to be.
Thank You! Thank You Lord.

Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be made manifest to him.” John 9:3
Lord so often things in life are not the way we would like them to be. Our wants and desires are often so different from Yours. Because the disciples saw a man that was blind they had asked Jesus if the man had sinned or his parents had sinned. Oh how easy it is to judge.
Thank You Lord for telling the disciples that everything in life is about doing the will of God.
Thank You that we don’t have to know all the answers we just have to keep walking with You and obeying.
Thank You for Your comfort in our pain and sorrow.
Thank You Lord.

As He (Jesus) passed by He saw a man blind from his birth. And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” John 9:1, 2
Oh Lord how hard it was to hear these words out of Your disciples mouths. Who did something wrong that someone else had to pay for. Why was this man being punished because of the sins of the parents. There are many that think that yet today. We will see what You have to say in reply but for today I want to thank You that You love each one of us and want the very best for our lives.
Thank You Lord that You are always with us to help us.
Thank You that we don’t have to wonder if You will ALWAYS be there because we know You will be there.
That is a great gift given to each of us that look to You.
Thank You Lord.
