He (the blind man that Jesus healed) answered them, (Jews) “I have told you already and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you too want to become His disciples?” John 9:28
Lord it sounds as if this man was loosing his patience. These men kept asking him the same questions over and over. He is trying to find out why they aren’t listening to him and why they keep asking him.
Thank You Lord that You are always with us to help us.
Thank You for Your unconditional love.
Thank You that we will spend all eternity with You.
Thank You Lord.

They (Jews) said to him, (blind man that was healed) “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” John 9:26
Lord these Jewish men would not let this healing rest. You had healed this man that was blind from birth on the Sabbath and that gave these men reason to arrest You and they were out to do just that. This was about the third time they had asked this man the very same questions.
Thank You Lord that You were listening to Your Father rather than these men.
Thank You for teaching us to always keep our eyes upon You.
Thank You for the wisdom and knowledge that You give us.
Oh how blessed we are Lord because of You.
Thank You Lord.

He (blind man that Jesus healed) answered, “Whether He (Jesus) is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I know, that though I was blind, now I see.” John 9:25
Lord, this man You healed was blind from birth. I can only imagine how excited he must have been to be seeing for the very first time in his life. These men would not let him enjoy his healing. They kept after him and after him because they wanted to find a reason to put You in prison. All of this shows us what You were dealing with. They just would not give up.
Lord …. thank You that You didn’t let this angry crowd stop You from healing this man.
Thank You that nothing can stop You.
Thank You for Your unconditional love for each one of us today.
Thank You Lord.

So for the second time they (Jews) called the man who had been blind, (that Jesus healed) and said to him, “Give God the praise; we know that this Man is a sinner.” John 9:24
Lord these Jews would not let up. They kept asking and asking this blind man because they were trying to get to You.
Lord You know what it is like to be hated.
You know what it is like to do nothing wrong and have others accuse You.
Thank You for not letting others detract You from doing Your Father’s will.
Thank You for being our example.
Thank You Lord.

His (the blind man that was healed) answered, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind; but how he now sees we do not know, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him; he is of age, he will speak for himself.” His parents said this because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone should confess Him to be Christ, he was to be put out of the synagogue. Therefore his parents said, “He is of age, ask him.” John 9:20 – 23
Lord fear sure can change us and cause us to say and do things we would never do. It can rule our lives. These parents were afraid and therefore they answered the way they did. They put the whole burden of what had happened on their son that had been healed. It should have been a happy time of celebration and it wasn’t. They were afraid.
Thank You Lord for our religious freedom.
Thank You that we are free to speak about You.
Thank You for my workplace where I can openly talk about You. I feel so blessed to have that privilege and opportunity.
Blessings from You Lord. Thank You.
Thank You Lord.

The Jews did not believe that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of the man who had received his sight, and asked them, “Is this your son who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”
Lord there are those that cannot take anyone’s word but have to investigate everything. That’s often a good thing for it is how things are proven to be true. These Jewish men were not going to believe until they knew what everyone was saying was true.
Thank You Lord for truth.
Thank You that You were perfectly honest in all that You did while on this earth.
Thank You for always doing what Your Father asked You to do.
Oh what a great example You are for all of us to follow.
Thank You. Thank You Lord.

So they (Pharisees) again said to the blind man, “What do you say about Him, (Jesus) since He has opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.” John 9:17
Lord it is interesting how this man answered these Pharisees. The blind man had been healed on Sunday and that was against the law. He had to watch what he was saying because he knew they were after You. After all – – – You were the one that had healed him.
Thank You Lord for wisdom.
Thank You for loving us.
Thank You for giving us boldness.
Thank You for Freedom and giving us minds to remember those that have given their lives for us. Thank You for giving us a Holiday to remember.
We have so very, very much to thank You for Lord.
Thank You Lord.

Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for He does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” There was a division among them. John 9:16
Thank You Lord for those that question for it is by questioning that our eyes of understanding are opened.
Thank You that we can go to You and ask for answers.
Oh how blessed we are because of the insight You provide when we ask You.
Thank You Lord.

The Pharisees again asked him (the man that Jesus healed) how he had received his site. And he said to them, “He (Jesus) put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.” John 9:15
Thank You Lord for this man’s obedience to You.
Thank You for Your healing power.
Thank You that we too are healed when we listen to You and obey.
Thank You! Thank You Lord.

They brought to the Pharisees the man who had formerly been blind. Now it was the Sabbath day when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. John 9:13, 14
Lord we know that You were in trouble because this healing was done on the Sabbath. The law said this could not be done. The Pharisees now had reason to arrest You. They had been watching and waiting for something You did wrong so they could arrest You.
Thank You Lord for going above and beyond anything we would ever think possible to heal this man.
Thank You for meeting the need while the need was there.
Thank You for the joy You brought into this man’s life.
You were there! You are here today! Thank You!!!
Thank You Lord.
