(Jesus continued) “When he (shepherd) has brought out all his own, he goes before them and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.” John 10:4
Lord thank You for speaking so we know it is You.
Thank You for going before us.
Thank You for bringing us out and allowing us the privilege of following You.
Thank You for all You are doing for each one of us.

Lord You were talking about something very common to those listening. I only know what I have been told but those You were talking to had experience in what You were saying. You are our shepherd. We are the sheep.
Thank You Lord that as we follow You we learn to recognize Your voice.
Thank You for leading us.
Thank You that we are never alone because You are always with us.
Thank You Lord.

Lord thank You for Your invitation and open door where all may enter.
Thank You for waiting with open arms to receive us.
Thank You for loving us unconditionally.

Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see and those who see may become blind.” Some of the Pharisees near Him heard this and they said to Him, “Are we also blind?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.”

Thank You Lord for opening our eyes of understanding.
Thank You for helping us see You and know You better and better.

(The blind man answers Jesus question – ‘Do you believe in the Son of man?’) He answered, and who is he, Sir, that I may believe in Him?” Jesus said to him, “You have seen Him and it is He who speaks to you.” He said, “Lord, I believe”; and he worshiped Him.

Thank You Lord for faith to believe.
Thank You for showing us who You were when You healed this blind man.
Thank You for opening his spiritual eyes as well as his physical eyes so he could see You and know who had healed him.
Lord each day You reveal Yourself to us in a new way when we turn to You.
Oh how we thank You.

Jesus heard that they (Jews) had cast him (blind man that He healed) out and having found him He said, “Do you believe in the Son of man?” John 9:35
Thank You Lord for inviting each of us to ‘come follow You.’
Thank You for Your gentle call and tug.
Thank You for the peace that is ours when we trust You.

They answered him, (blind man that was healed) “You were born in utter sin and would you teach us.” (Jews) And they cast him out. John 9:34
Lord it is so hard to be understood. It hard to be falsely accused. It is hard to do the right thing and have others think You are wrong.
Thank You Lord that even when others don’t like us. You do
Thank You for the good You bring even when we don’t deserve it.
Thank You for our peace that is within us because of You.

The blind man that was healed by Jesus answers the Jews that are questioning him. They had told him that they did not know where Jesus came from. Here is his answer.
The man answered, “Why, this is a marvel! You do not know where He comes from, and yet He opened my eyes. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if any one is a worshiper of God and does His will, God listens to him. Never since the world began has it been heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind. If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.” John 9:30 – 34
Thank You Lord for the way You gave wisdom to this man when put on the spot.
Thank You for giving us that same wisdom today when we cry out to You.
Thank You for always being there to help us.

And they (Jews) reviled him, (the blind man that was healed by Jesus) saying, “You are His (Jesus) disciple but we are disciples of Moses. We know that God has spoken to Moses but as for this Man, we do not know where He comes from.” John 9:28, 29
Thank You Lord for the struggles You endured upon this earth.
Thank You for showing us how to obey.
Thank You for showing us too that life is not always a smooth ride.
How blessed we are Lord because You were here on earth.
