Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Lord thank You for making me a new creation as a child of 8 years old. At that young tender age of 8 when I kneeled and asked You to come into my heart I knew I was changed. Oh not everyone has the feeling I had I know that by listening to others…. but I was a new creation and I felt it. My life was changed. I now had that peace within that passes all human understanding. I wanted to follow You and be Your child. I wanted You to guide and direct my life. I wanted to know You and have You show me the way. Yes I was Your little girl and I loved being that.

And here I am today at 83 that same NEW CREATION…. That new creation that wants to hear Your direction for my life. That wants to listen and obey. That knows I am Your child and You still loves me unconditionally. How blessed I am and how I thank You for the joy in listening and servicing You. Thank You Lord for that still small voice within that calms the storms of life and gives me peace. I love You Lord and thank You.

Thank You Lord.

Amen

Thank You Lord for Your many gifts and blessing given each of us to be used CHEERFULLY for Your honor and Your glory. When we think of giving we immediately think that means money BUT there is so much more we can give than money. You call us to LOVE one another. You ask us to carry one another’s burdens….in prayer ….and is any need they may have. You have given each of us special abilities. Gifts of listening….gifts of compassion….gifts of wisdom….gifts of helping those in all kinds of way…financially, physically, comfort, love and that list goes on and on. Thank You Lord for helping us to have eyes wide open for the needs of others. And Lord there are some of us that need to be open to ALLOW others to help us for there are times in our lives that we too have needs. Thank You for providing Your wisdom and Your help as we look to You for guidance. Thank You for using us today Lord. We love You and want to be our very best for You today.

Thank You Lord.

This verse goes one step further Lord as You remind us that you will NEVER forget the needy and YOU are the hope of the afflicted. Thank You for knowing every detail of our lives and showing us Your way. It is with Your strength and wisdom that we go through the difficulties in life. You are there to help and we thank You.

God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts. 2 Corinthians 4:6

Thank You Lord for ‘commanding the light to shine out of darkness and shine in our hearts.’ What a beautiful picture for us to think about Lord. Just recently You did that for me and gave me a whole new understanding of a situation I was struggling with. When the light shined in the darkness I saw everything in a new light. The darkness became an enlightenment. Things that I didn’t understand became clear and I understood and had peace. It is so amazing Your love for us Lord and how You work in each of our lives to bring light out of darkness. ….to bring understanding out of things we don’t understand. Thank You for Your peace that passes all human understanding. Thank You that You provide all of this for us and it is ours for the taking. You are only a prayer away. You ASK us to come to You. Oh how blessed we are and OH how we THANK YOU.

Thank You Lord.

Amen

As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. Psalms 103:13

Thank You Lord for Your compassion. Thank You for calling us Your children. Thank You for Your everlasting love.

Lord as I was reading this verse my mind went back to my childhood and I began thanking you for blessing me with a loving, compassionate father. A father that loved each of his six children and worked very hard to support us. We ALL knew we were loved and what a wonderful gift that was to each of us as we grew up and realized even more how blessed we truly were. His love for You was amazing and we learned much from him because of it. Lord because I had a loving, compassionate father it is easy for me to think of You in that light and thank You for it. BUT Lord ….there are many that have not been blessed with a father like mine and they have had to learn what a father’s compassion is. I thanked You for healing those hurts and mending those wounds as only Your loving compassion could do. Thank You for the healing today of those broken hearts. Thank You for Your compassion to each of us that needs it so badly today. Thank You for loving us so unconditionally because You care about every detail of our lives. Oh how we praise and thank You today for YOUR compassion.

Thank You Lord.

Amen

Fervently do I love Thee, oh Lord my strength. Psalms 18:1

Lord…I love You fervently and thank You for being my strength. Thank You for only being a prayer away. How blessed we are to know that You are always there. It seems Lord that when I am the weakest You are the strongest because my trust is totally in You and Your power within me. Oh how I praise and thank You. I am not in this world alone. I have a loving Savior watching over me. Thank You for Your unconditional love and strength.

Thank You Lord.

Amen

And this is my prayer; that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Philippians1:9, 10

Lord this is certainly our prayer today. Oh that we would know You better and better. We pray that You would help us to ‘discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.’ Thank You for Your power with us to change us moment by moment and day by day. Oh to be like You Lord full of Your love and compassion. Thank You for helping us today to keep our eyes upon You. Thank You for the joy we have in serving You. We love You Lord and want to be our very best for You. Thank You for Your peace today.

Greater is God who is in me than the enemy who is working against me. 1 John 4:4

Thank You Lord for this wonderful verse that we stand on and claim victor in Your name every day. Our lives were changed by Your touch when we ask You to be Lord of our lives. Your promises came alive and we knew You would always be with us to guide, direct and help us each day of our lives. Then there is the peace that floods our souls knowing that some day when this earthly life ends we will be spending all eternity with You. Thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for Your peace and joy today. Oh how blessed we are and we thank You.

Thank You Lord.

Amen
