(Jesus continued) “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you.” John 15:13, 14
Lord, You gave Your life for us. You paid the price for our freedom. How can we help but follow You and do as You command us to do. We were bought with a price – that price was Your death on the cross.
Thank You for giving Your all for us.

Lord, Thank You for love.
Thank You for Your unconditional love. A love that has no strings attached. A love that loves us even when we don’t love ourselves. A love that is pure. A love that never ends.
Lord, You have given us Your command. You have given us Your gift of love. You have given us the ability to love one another. We have it all Lord because of You.

Joy …. What a gift it is to all of us. Thank You Lord for joy. You had joy and You give us joy.

Lord thank You for Your unconditional love.

Lord, what a beautiful verse. Thank You for showing us how much You love us.
Thank You for helping us ‘abide in Your love.’
Lord at times I forget just how much You love me and become ungrateful. Oh how I need Your reminder and Your help Lord. Thank You for always being there to call me back to what is truly important in life.
I am grateful! Thank You for Your love – Your unconditional love for me.

(Jesus continued) “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.” John 15:8
Lord we so often hear that phrase. ‘by their fruit you will know them.’ Do others know that we are Your disciple?
Thank You Lord for giving us the ability to bear MUCH fruit. Not just a little – but MUCH fruit.
Thank You for reminding us that it is ours for the asking.
Thank You for reminding us to look and listen for how You want to use us today.
We are Yours Lord. Thank You for calling us to come follow You.

(Jesus continued) “If you abide in me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7
Lord when we abide in You we want what You want. It is interesting how that changes our wants and desires. It is then that we are going to ask for what You would want us to ask for and therefore we will have our request granted.
Thanks for Your promises Lord.

(Jesus continued) “If a man does not abide in Me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.” John 15:6
Lord You gave us Your promise that if we would abide in You we would bear much fruit. In this verse You are telling us that if we do not abide in You we are cut off from our source and therefore of no value. It is our choice.
Thank You Lord that You always give us our choice.
Thank You that You are always there to help us.
Oh to be the vine that bears much fruit.
With our eyes upon You Lord that is possible.

(Jesus continued) “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Lord thank You for Your reminder again today what we are on this earth for.
Thank You for reminding us that when we stay close to You we will be fruitful.
Thank You for this promise. It is a gift to all of us that is freely given but it is up to us whether we are going to receive it or not.
Thank You for the joy we experience when we abide in You.

(Jesus continued) “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4
Lord, I love this verse. I am reminded of it so often when I forget who is in charge of my life. Without You Lord I am nothing and I can do nothing. How I praise and thank You for Your presence in my life. You are my life. You are my all.
