Thought For Today

When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. Psalms 91:15

Thank You Lord for ALWAYS being with us. Thank You for only being a prayer away…..You hear and show us the way. I love this verse because You not only rescue us… You also honor us. What we thought was so terrible and traumatic You change it to bring ‘honor’ to us. Thank You for giving us lives that are free to love and serve You.

Thank You Lord for this beautiful verse. How true it has always been in my life. Coupled with my disappointments I could hear my own father’s words….’and God CAUSES ALL things to work together for good.’ Oh so often I didn’t understand but stayed the course with You by my side to see the miracles unfold right before my eyes. Thank You Lord for helping me ‘store Yours commands in my heart.’ What a gift and blessing they have been in my life over the years. Thank You for being the same Lord today that loved Your own people long ago when this verse was written. Thank You for loving me today.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:105

Thank You Lord for remining us today how important it is to know Your scriptures – Your ‘word’. Thank You for the way You so gently guide and direct our lives. Thank You for showing us how much You love us because we certainly are not perfect at always hearing and obeying. Thank You for Your unconditional love that picks us up and puts us back on Your perfect pathway for us. Oh how blessed we are and we thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for being our strength, our fortress, our refuge and loving us unconditionally with a steadfast love. You have given us everything we need and desire to make it through this life. Thank You for preparing us to meet You. Thank You for helping us face each new day with a smile knowing that NOTHING is too hard for You. You are our strength today and we thank YOU.

Jesus said, “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on My own authority. Rather it is the Father, living in me, who is doing His work.” John 14:10

Thank You Lord for showing us how to please the Father in doing His work. What a great example You were for us while here on this earth. Thank You for calling us to ‘come follow You.’ Thank You for showing us the way and not only showing us but helping us live our lives to please You. Thank You for using us to spread Your good news to others that don’t know and love You as we do. Thank You for allowing YOUR bright light to shine through us touching lives of those around us just as You did. Oh how we love You Lord and thank You.

Thank You Lord for verses like this one that encourage us. Once again we are reminded ‘there is NOTHING too hard for YOU.’ You are there and love to hear us thank and praise You. You are there when we experience life that causes us to drop to our knees. Thank You for giving us the strength we need each day. Thank You for Your power that is working in and through us. Thank You for the opportunity to draw closer and closer to You every day. Oh how grateful we are that You are ALWAYS with us helping us in every way. We love You Lord and praise and thank You for walking with us today. Thank You for Your peace.

Thank You Lord for these words of comfort. There are times in our lives when we know we are not all You want us to be and we feel defeated. Thank You for not giving up on us but with Your gentle Spirit You help us see the right pathway to follow. You are there. You haven’t given up on us. You have not left us. Thank You for renewing our confidence and teaching us how to trust You. Thank You for Your still small voice that shows us the way and leads us on. How wonderful that we can see Moses’s history and KNOW that You are with us in the same way today.

Thank You Lord for giving us the privilege of spending all eternity with You. We are SECURE. We know heaven is our home. You told us over and over that You were going to prepare a place where we could be with You forever and ever. Today we stand upon that promise knowing You are there waiting for us. Thank You for all Your blessings. We love You Lord and thank You.

Thank You Lord for guarding our hearts and our minds. Oh how we need that to stay close to You and have Your peace that passes all human understanding. There is nothing like having Your peace and oh how I strive for it each day. It is mine for the taking and I thank and praise You for giving it so freely. Thank You or Your peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for this awesome verse that reminds us who is truly in charge of our lives. How easy it is for us to think WE are the masters of our own souls. Thank You for knowing what is best for us and giving us the guidelines to bring JOY and PEACE through the storms of this life. We love You Lord and it is our desire to listen and obey. Thank You for calling us to pray about EVERYTHING. You KNOW what is best we just have to ask You for the answer.

Thank You Lord for all Your gifts and blessings. Thank You for helping us listen and obey today. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us. Thank You for taking our worries today and replacing them with peace and joy.
