Thought For Today

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, and it will move.’ Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20.

Thank You Lord for increasing our faith as we watch obstacle after obstacle moved in our journey here on earth. Oh how it builds our faith too and we see what You meant when You told us ‘Nothing will be IMPOSSIBLE.’

Lord it always amazed me how small that mustard seed was in the necklace I wore as a teenager with that tiny seed inside a globe. Oh how often I have thought of that over the years and thanked You for all the mountains I have seen moved as I prayed and trusted You.

Thank You Lord for being that same Lord today that loves me unconditionally and calls me on each day to be more and more like You. Faith…. FAITH that KNOWS NOTHING is impossible when we put our trust in You. Oh how I thank and praise You today for my faith and Your answers as I trusted You.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. For we do not know what to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26

Thank You Lord for helping us pray. How true it is Lord that we see things so differently then what they truly are from Your vantage point. How wonderful it is to have Your prayers come through us and get Your insights. Thank You for prayer and the tremendous gift and blessing it is to have You available 24 hours a day. Thank You that there is NOTHING too hard for You. We love You Lord and thank You for our many gifts and blessings today.

Thank You Lord for knowing all about us and what is going on deep within our spirits. Thank You for interceding for us. Thank You for changing us moment by moment into Your likeness. Oh how we thank and praise You for another day to love and serve You. Thank You for filling us full of Your peace and Your love.

Thank You Lord for verses like this one that help us understand the security we have in You because of Your tremendous love for us. You came into this world to redeem us. You call us to become Your children. You love us UNCONDITIONALLY. You pick us up when we fall and call us on to become more than we ever thought we would be. Oh how we thank and praise You for all we have and are when we turn our wills and our lives over to You.

Thank You Lord for putting a song in our hearts. What an awesome gift music is to lift our voices in praise to You. I was singing on my way to work at 5 a.m. this morning and what a joy was flooding my soul as I praised and thanked You. Thank You Jesus resonated from my soul as I thanked You for who and what You are. Thank You for Your peace and contentment. Thank You for Your joy. How blessed we are each moment of our day because of You.

How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in Him should ponder them. Psalms 111:2

Thank You Lord that You have given me much to ponder in my lifetime. Thank You for each one of my blessings. Thank You too that You continue to bless me and how I praise and thank You. Thank You for the joy in knowing You as my Heavenly Father that knows all about me and loves me so….so…unconditionally. My heart if full of thanksgiving. Thank You Lord that NOTHING we do for You is in vain. You see. You care. Thank You for blessing us as we bless others. It was YOU that put within us the desire to help others and we thank You. It is YOUR steadfast love that calls us on to be more than we ever thought we could be. Oh how we thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for being our strength, our fortress, our refuge and loving us unconditionally with a steadfast love. You have given us everything we need and desire to make it through this life. Thank You for preparing us to meet You. Thank You for helping us face each new day with a smile knowing that NOTHING is too hard for You. You are our strength today and we thank YOU.

Thank You Lord for reminding us over and over how much You love us. Thank You for calling our name and telling us we are Yours. Our lives are under Your control and You remind us we don’t have to be afraid. You are with us each moment in our lives because You love us. We are Yours! Thank You for helping us draw closer and closer to You as we keep our eyes upon You and Your desires for us. We love You Lord and thank You for Your peace and joy today.
