Thought For Today

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24

Thank You Lord for the wonderful privilege of coming to You in prayer and asking. You love us so much as Your children that when we ask You fill us full of joy. Oh how we praise and thank You for loving us with a love that is UNCONDITIONAL. Your blessings are abundant and we praise and thank You. Thank You for Your gift of peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for Your many blessings You reserve for us that reverence Your name and trust in You. Lord there are so many gifts to thank and praise You for each and every day. Oh how easy it is to complain until we stop and realize what we are complaining about and see the many gifts and joys You have provided for us to be thankful for. Having Your peace and joy in our lives is one of our greatest gifts and blessings. Oh how we thank and praise You for Your everlasting love.

Thank You Lord for this reminder today. How special it is to gather together with others to pray. And beyond that blessing of being with those that love and serve You is the fact that You are right there with us. Oh how wonderful it is to know how much You love us and care about every detail of our lives. How blessed we are that You want us to gather with others to pray. How can we thank You enough today Lord for this wonderful gift of prayer. You are right here with us and we thank You.

Thank You Lord for taking us broken as we are and making us new creations full of Your LOVE. It is Your love that changes us. We no longer want to live lives that are hurting ourselves and hurting others. Our old hateful and deceptive ways are being changed moment by moment as we keep our eyes upon You and Your love for us. We love You Lord and thank and praise You for loving us unconditionally.

Thank You Lord that we can praise and thank You 24 hours a day. It doesn’t matter where we are or what we are doing we can always praise and thank You. You are NEVER not there for us. In the middle of the night when all is quiet and we are all alone YOU ARE there to bring peace. Oh how grateful I am for Your peace. Your peace IS ALWAYS there in the midst of the storms of life. Thank You for ALWAYS only being a prayer away.

Thank You Lord for Your protection via Your angels. I must admit I am fascinated by angels. My home is full of them. My yard has them. I enjoy seeing them and having them. They remind me of You Lord and the hosts of angels around You saying, ‘Holy, Holy, Holy.’ They are our gift from You the giver of our lives. Thank You for loving us and providing protection wherever we go. We love You Lord and praise and thank You.

Thank You Lord for showing us Your amazing gift of love when You came to earth to pay the price to give us eternal life. The invitation is ours to accept a life lived with You for all eternity. This free gift has no strings attached. You pour Your love into us when we accept You as our Lord and our Savior as You change us into Your likeness moment by moment. Oh how we thank and praise You for loving us and calling us Your children. You fill us with Your peace and Your joy. Our hearts sing because of You. We love You Lord and thank YOU!

Thank You Lord for Your unbelievable love for us. NOTHING can separate us from Your love. NOTHING!!!! You love us unconditionally with a love that is everlasting. Oh how we praise and thank You for that love. Love that has no boundaries. Love that has no limits. Love that has no restrictions. We love You Lord and thank You for reminding us over and over again just how much You love us. WE ARE LOVED and we thank and praise YOU!!!

Thank You Lord for Your promise to go through each trial with us. We never go through them without Your comfort and strength. You are ALWAYS right there with us helping us each step of the way. No wonder we are said to be BLESSED. Thank You too for Your promise that You will NEVER give us more than we can bare. And then because we remained ‘steadfast’ there is an added gift…. ‘we WILL receive the crown of life.’ Oh how we thank and praise You. Thank You for Your peace and joy today.

O God, we give glory to YOU all day long and constantly praise Your name. Psalms 44:8

Thank You Lord for those days when we just can’t thank and praise You enough. So often when driving back and forth to work I just start singing ‘Thank You Jesus.’ I am overwhelmed with the sense of Your presence and all You have done and are doing for me. How I thank You for loving me unconditionally. Loving me when picking me up and changing me into Your likeness. Showing a better way to love and serve You. Putting a smile on my face and joy in my heart. Thank You Lord for ALWAYS being with us. We are truly blessed and I thank You.
