Thought For Today

Then you will walk on your way securely and your foot will not stumble. Proverbs 3:23

Lord who of us would not want to be secure in our lives every day. That is exactly what You want for us and all it takes is listening to Your direction for our lives. How awesome is it Lord that when we stay close to You and listen to all You want for our lives we are secure in all we do.

What more could we ask for today Lord. Oh how we praise and thank You that You are there for us each moment of every day.

Thank You Lord. Thank You.

(Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding.) She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Proverbs (3-13) and 3:15, 16

Lord Solomon isn’t done trying to describe for us how wonderful it is to have wisdom and understanding. He tells us that it is more precious than jewels. Then he goes on to say she has long life and riches and honor.

As we read all these verses Lord and really hear what they are saying to us it causes us to want to seek Your wisdom and Your understanding. Thank You for giving us the privilege of coming to You and asking for it. What a gift. Thank You.

Lord, Solomon puts great value in wisdom and understanding and I certainly agree with him. It is truly a gift. It is something to seek after and look to You Lord to get.

Lord I sit at Your feet day after day to listen. I want to hear what You want to teach me. I am so grateful for this very special time.

Lord You invite each of us to come to You. What a gift. What a treasure. Oh how we thank You.

Honor the Lord with all your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will be bursting with wine. Proverbs 3:9, 10

Lord what a wonderful promise for all of us.

Not always easy to honor You with our first fruits – before taxes. But the rewards are there because You promised.

When I reflect on this verse Lord it reminds me that I am in Your hands and under Your control. Everything I have is Yours including my next breath. How can I help but give back in praise and also with my money. They all belong to You.

Thank You for guiding my pathway and loving me unconditionally. I can never thank or praise You enough.

Lord what a tremendous gift it is to have You directing our pathway.

Thank You for asking us to trust in You to show us the way You want us to live.

Thank You for the healing and refreshment You alone can give as we keep our eyes upon You Lord.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5, 6

Lord these are awesome promises. I have relied upon them my whole life. They bring comfort and joy. It is wonderful to rest in Your love knowing that because I am trusting You I am being directed in the right way. Oh there are times Lord I don’t feel like it is a good path for me but because I am listening to You and trusting You have never failed me yet. AND I know You will not fail me because Your promise is in these verses.

Oh how I praise and thank You. What an awesome God I serve. Thank You for always being there for me.
