Thank You Lord for coming into my life and changing me as a child.
I have had a lifetime to get to know You better and better each day.
I have had years to be grateful that You called me as a child to ‘come follow You.’
Verses like this make me grateful for a mother that loved You and taught us the value of listening to You and obeying.
Sometimes Lord when I think of all You have given me I just can’t thank You enough. Thank You.

Oh to be like You Lord. Oh to be like You…. This is the desire of all of us that love and worship You.
It is as we walk and talk with You that our lives are changed into Your image. It is then that our words become words of love and compassion.
We become new creatures……different……more like You.
Oh how we thank You for the changes You bring about within us Lord. Thank You.

Over and over Solomon continue to tell us the difference that happens because we trust in You.
Thank You for his reminders that help us look at every aspect of our lives.
You gave him this wisdom to share with all of us and we thank You.

Lord because we love You and want to be like You we have a love for everything.
Thank You for that desire You place within us to become more and more like You.

Better is a man of humble standing who works for himself than one who plays the great man but lacks bread. Proverbs 12:9
Lord there is great value in humility. You have told us ‘pride goes before a fall.’ We certainly acknowledge that as a true statement.
The saying goes that ‘hard work never hurt anyone.’ Well I am sure there are exceptions but certainly we were made to work and enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Thank You Lord for each ability You have given us. We are all different Lord and You use each one of us in different ways. Our individuality is a gift from You to each of us and we thank You.

Thank You that You are there to guide us when we ask and trust You.

Lord we are here because You want us here. Our lives are in Your control. Solomon tell us the ‘righteous’ will stand. We are those that he is talking about. We will stand.

The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood but the mouth of the upright delivers men Proverbs 12:6
Lord it is so interesting how Solomon always tells us what the wicked are like and how we that love and serve You are not like them.
Here he points out how the wicked want to destroy and the ‘upright’ (us) want to deliver not destroy men.
How wonderful it is Lord to know You are right there to help us. Oh how we thank You.
