Thought For Today

The thoughts of the righteous are just; the counsels of the wicked are treacherous. Proverbs 12:5

Thank You Lord for the wisdom You give us when we listen to You.

Solomon continues in verse after verse to show us the difference between those that trust in You and those that are wicked.

Thank You for the knowledge You gave him. It was his gift and it has lived long after he has been gone. Now it is our gift because we are learning from him.

Thank You that he listen to You and as we listen to You our lives are changed too. Oh how we thank You.

Thank You Lord.

A man is not established by wickedness but the root of the righteous will never be moved. Proverbs 12:3

Thank You Lord for the gift of a root that will never be moved. What an awesome feeling of safety we have when we love You.

This is a beautiful comforting verse. We WILL spend all eternity with You Lord and we thank You.

A good man obtains favor from the Lord but a man of evil devices He condemns. Proverbs 12:2

Lord what a gift we have in knowing that we are Your children and Your presence is within us guiding and directing our every thought.

We can relax in You Lord knowing that You will give us Your wisdom and Your thoughts just as you did to Solomon so long ago.

We have been given so much Lord and I thank You for each gift and blessing.

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge but he who hates reproof is stupid. Proverbs 12:1

Lord I know discipline is needed in our lives to keep us on the right track. Solomon certainly was right when he said it is a good thing to love discipline.

The rewards are high when we are disciplined to listen to Your words each day by reading our Bible and praying. You are always there waiting and we thank You. What a gift it is Lord to come to You knowing You love us and want the best for our lives. Oh how we thank You.

If the righteous is requited (to repay in kind, either for a kindness or an injury) on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner! Proverbs 11:31

Thank You Lord for our opportunity to sit at Your feet and listen and learn. What a wonderful gift to have Your written word because it speaks to us as we read and listen.

Thank You for the wisdom You gave Solomon and thank You that we have those words to read yet today.

Thank You for the freedom we have to read. Lord I take that so for granted until You remind me like just now what a gift it truly is.

Thank You that as a child I learned many verses that come to my mind and help me yet today.

We have so much to thank You for Lord and we do thank You!

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life but lawlessness takes away lives. Proverbs 11:30

Thank You Lord for the opportunity to be the tree of life.

Thank You for creating us in Your image and putting within us the desire to love and serve You.

There is joy in knowing our lives are in Your hands and that You love us unconditionally.

What peace You give and we thank You.

Thank You Lord for the wisdom You give us when we trust and follow You.

Lord we certainly are not perfect but we strive to be.

Thank You for Your help and the joy that You alone can give.

You love us Lord and we thank You.

Riches and all the money in the world cannot buy our reward of eternal life with You forever and ever.

Oh how grateful we are that the gift of eternal life is free and ours for the asking.

Thank You Lord for giving us that love You the desire to ‘diligently seek good’ and ‘seek favor.’

Thank You for helping us what to please You.

Thank You for Your unconditional love that loves us in spite of our shortcomings.

We love You Lord and thank You for being with us each moment of every day.

Lord… Solomon continues to tell us what we know life to be. We appreciate so much those that are full of love and compassion and help us along our journey called life. That is what he is reminding us of here. Giving ….. Sharing …… Caring …..

Thank You Lord for allowing these desires to grow in our hearts the closer and closer we get to You.

Thank You for the joy they give to the giver.
