Thought For Today

Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle but he who gathers little by little will increase it. Proverbs 13:10

Lord this reminds me of the shysters that try and con us into giving them our money and give nothing in return.

Thank You for the desire and ability to work.

Thank You for the wisdom You provide.

Thank You for always being there when we cry out to You.

Thank You Lord for the many gifts that are ours because You love us unconditionally.

Thank You Lord.

One man pretends to be rich yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. Proverbs 13:7

Thank You Lord that when we have You we have great wealth. We are rich in spite of being poor.

You are our gift Lord and we thank You that You give us something that money cannot buy.

Thank You that the gift of eternal life is free to all.

A righteous man hates falsehood but a wicked man acts shamefully and disgracefully. Proverbs 13:5

Lord thank You for people that are honest. What a true gift they are to everyone they meet. You never have to wonder if they are telling you the truth because You know they are. You know you can believe them.

Today Lord I want to thank You for the gift You have given me of those people that love You and are honest and truthful.

Thank You for each one of them Lord.

Thank You Lord for the desires You put within me to work and do the best job I can.

Thank You too for giving me the workplace I have where I am free to tell others I am praying for them.

There is much to thank You for Lord and we do thank and praise You for all Your gifts.

Thank You Lord for Your many gifts and blessings.

Thank You for the variety of food that we have to enjoy.

Lord we take so much for granted and yet when we look around us we have to say THANK YOU. You have given us so much to enjoy. Oh how we thank You.

A wise son hears his father’s instruction but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke. Proverbs 13:1

Lord thank You for continuing to instruct us.

Thank You for giving us ears to hear and hearts to respond.

Solomon sure was doing his very best to try and get his son to listen and obey. Over and over Solomon continues to tell his son the best way to live.

Thank You Lord for the lessons we can learn as we let Solomon’s words sink into our hearts. We are changed by obeying You and we thank You.

Lord we have heard this before from Solomon. For me that means it is important because he is trying his best to get his son to listen to what he is saying.

Thank You for helping us continue to be persistent even when the going gets hard.

You are there to help and to guide us every step of the way. Thank You.
