He who pampers his servant from childhood, will in the end find him his heir. Proverbs 29:21
Lord ..I’m sure Solomon had many servants. No doubt what he is warning his son about could have happened to him.
Thank You Lord for those You bless us with that bring peace and joy into our lives. Truly they are Your gifts to us and we thank You.

Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Proverbs 29:20
Lord….Solomon has over and over warned his son about those that have flowery word that have no truth to what they are saying.
Thank You Lord for helping us discern who to befriend and who to listen to.
Thank You for only being a prayer away.
We love You Lord and thank You for giving us Your wisdom and Your discernment.

Lord…Solomon talks a lot about discipline. He talked about children being disciplined and now he is talking about servants being disciplined. We all need discipline in our lives. Discipline is not an easy task for most of us. Oh how we thank You for helping us.

Lord…Our freedom is a wonderful gift. We can never take it for granted. Thank You for each person that helps to keep us free.

Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart. Proverbs 29:17
Lord as any parent knows it is not easy to discipline your child. Often it hurts the parent more to have to discipline them. But as Solomon tells his son over and over it is the only way. Solomon says if we discipline our children they will give us rest.
Thank You Lord that You show us the way. You guide. You direct. You teach us how to be strong and in the power of Your ways.
Oh how we as parents thank You.

Lord how wonderful it is to have those that love You in authority. Over and over Solomon continues to point this out to his son.
Thank You for each person that is in authority that loves You and follows Your calling on their life. Certainly we are blessed and we thank You.

Lord it is obvious what Solomon thought of the poor. Over and over he reminds his son that they are to be valued.
Thank You for helping us see through Your eyes Lord. Thank You for showing us those we are to help. What a gift and privilege to be able to give. Thank You ….

If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet. Bloodthirsty men hate one who is blameless, and the wicked seek his life. A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man quietly holds it back. Proverbs 29:9 – 11
Lord what a difference Solomon is showing his son between the fool and the wise man. He is teaching him a valuable lesson and a lesson we all can learn too.
