Thank You Lord for showing us the way. David knew You were giving him counsel and I have known that You were giving me counsel. You delight in showing Your children the way. We know we can trust You. How wonderful it is to be led by You Lord. Thank You.

The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. Psalms 16:6
Thank You Lord for my heritage and upbringing.
Thank You for parents and grandparents that loved and worshiped You.
I thank You for my Aunt Mary that lived to a wonderful age of 104 and prayed for me every day.
Lord being the oldest in a family with six children has given each of us comfort in knowing we are praying one for another.
I have much to thank You for Lord and I do thank You.
Your gifts are all around us and I thank You.

David continued …..Those who choose another god multiply their sorrow, their libations of blood I will not pour out or take their names upon my lips. The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; Thou holdest my lot. Psalms 16:4, 5
Lord how wonderful it is when we can say like David that we have chosen You. You are our Lord. You are our guide. We have our eyes on You Lord, and how wonderful it is to follow Your leading. Oh how we thank You and praise You.

David continues …. O Lord, who shall sojourn in Thy tent? Who shall dwell on Thy holy hill? He who walks blamelessly, and does what is right, and speaks truth from his heart; who does not slander with his tongue, and does no evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor; in whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; who does not put out his money at interest, and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved. Psalms 15:1 – 5
Lord…David certainly knows what a person that loves You and desires to please You is like. He knew because that is what he was like.
Thank You Lord for these guidelines that show us how to live. These are Your words of wisdom for us too. This is the way we choose to live our lives to bring honor and glory to Your name. We love You Lord and love it that You show us the way. Thank You!

O that deliverance for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, Israel shall be glad. Psalms 14:7
Lord…I see faith in David’s prayer. He doesn’t say ‘if the Lord restores’ … David says, ‘WHEN the Lord restores.’ He KNEW You were going to do it.
Oh how great it is to KNOW that You will do what You have promised to do. We can pray with that assurance. You have promised to never leave or forsake us.

Lord …. Thank You that like David we know that You are with us. We know that You are our refuge. You are our strength. You are our wisdom. You are our guide.

Lord …. David is watching those that are after him and seeing them for who they are. What a hard place to be in.
Thank You Lord for helping us through the difficulties of life when those that don’t love You come against us.
Thank You for being with us and helping us to love the unlovely. Not easy Lord but with You as our strength You give us the wisdom to survive. Oh how we praise and thank You.
Thank You for giving us those to be with that love You as we love You. What a joy that brings to our souls.
