Thought For Today

Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. Psalms 26:1

Lord … there are times when we have to cry out to You for help. David continues to pray knowing that You are his only hope. Lord we too pray knowing that You are our only hope. Your answers don’t always come immediately and that teaches us to trust You. David kept trusting You. You did preserve his life and he went on to become king. Thank You for another day to love and serve You Lord.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. Psalms 25:22

Lord thank You for the privilege of praying for the United States. Thank You too Lord that no request is too large or too small. Thank You for hearing and answering in the way that will bring honor and glory to Your name.

Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. Oh guard my life, and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in Thee. My integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for Thee. Psalms 25:19 – 21

Lord ….we like David have cried out to You for help. Over and over we hear David cry out knowing that You are the only hope he has. Thank You Lord for being there for David and thank You for being there for us. We too need Your help each day. We too need Your strength each day. We too need You and thank You that You are right here with us each moment of every day. Oh how we thank You.

Turn Thou to me, (David) and be gracious to me; for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me out of my distress. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. Psalms 25:16 – 18

Lord …David was crying out to You for help. He was lonely and afflicted. You were there for him just as You are there for us too. Thank You for only being a prayer away. You are ALWAYS there …. You help us through each difficult moment. Thank You for all Your unconditional love and help. Thank You for Your peace that passes all human understanding. What a gift!

The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He makes known to them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalms 25:14, 15

Lord what a beautiful Psalm David has written. Over and over he tells of Your power and Your love for us. Just as we are always looking toward You we read that David was looking toward You too. He knew You were capable of ‘plucking his feet out of the net.’ In other works You were capable of helping him through all situations he faced. Thank You Lord that You are that same Lord today.

For Thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is great. Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him will He instruct in the way that He should choose. He himself shall abide in prosperity, and his children shall possess the land. Psalms 25:11 – 13

Lord we are on our journey called life. Thank You for the answers You provide for us as we look to You for direction. Thank You for each promise You give us. Thank You for ALWAYS being with us 24/7 every day. What a tremendous gift.

Thank You Lord for helping us keep our feet on Your path. Thank You for the gifts that are ours when we do that. What peace there is in walking on Your pathway. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love.

Thanks You Lord for helping us become humble. All that we are and all that we are changing into are because of You and Your power in our lives. Thank You for helping us to be teachable. It is when we stop and listen to You that the things in our lives change. We become more and more like You Lord. You fill us with gratitude for all You have given us.

Be mindful of Thy mercy, O Lord, and of Thy steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions; according to Thy steadfast love remember me, for Thy goodness’ sake, O Lord! Psalms 25:6, 7

Thank You Lord that You are all things to us that David was crying out for You to be to him.

Thank You for Your steadfast love that loves us unconditionally.

Thank You for forgiving us of all our sins and never remembering them again.

We have so much to thank You for Lord and are oh so grateful.
