Thought For Today

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen. Galatians 1:3 – 5

Thank You Lord for coming to earth to deliver us.  Thank You for helping us each day realize this is not our final home.  It gives us great comfort in knowing we WILL spend ALL ETERNITY with You.  Our bodies will be perfect.  Our lives will be full of joy and peace.  There will be no more sadness.  You will wipe away all our tears.  Thank You for helping us rejoice in all You are providing for us.  Oh, what a day that will be and we praise and thank You today.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Thank You Lord for helping us wait.   Thank You for showing us in this verse the benefit of waiting on You and Your answer.  Our strength will be renewed as we wait.  We will soar as the eagles.  We will run and not be weary.  We will walk and not get faint.  Thank You Lord for making all of this possible as we let You guide and direct our lives.  Thank You for helping us wait upon You today Lord.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your strength today.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  John 15:13

Thank You Lord for reminding us what a loving gift You gave us when You came to earth to die for us.  Thank You that by Your death and resurrection You paid the price for us to spend all eternity with You.  Thank You for giving us the choice to accept or reject Your unconditional love.  I can never praise You enough for my choice at age 8 when I prayed to accept You as the Lord and Savior of my life.  My life was changed ….and I knew it.  Thank You for the assurance that I had that You had accepted me as Your child.   Thank You for teaching me all these years and continuing to teach me today to become more and more like You…..full of unconditional love and compassion.  I love You Lord and thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for this awesome reminder.  Thank You that there is no doubt this WILL happen….. SHALL…. ‘Shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus’ …..  Shall…leaves no doubt it WILL happen when we keep our ‘HEARTS and our MINDS’ centered upon YOU.  Thank You for helping us at times in our lives when we need to BELIEVE You are helping us… When we need to BELIEVE …. ‘YOU cause all things to work together for GOOD’ because we are trusting YOU.  Thank You for being with us and giving us Your peace today.

Thank You Lord for another Monday.  For many of us today is the beginning of another week of work.  Lord, how I rejoice that when I was looking for a job 32 years ago You answered my prayers.  How blessed I am to still be here rejoicing for Your blessing given me so long ago.  Yes, ‘This is the day that You have given me and I truly am rejoicing and glad’ to be here this Monday morning.  

Thank You for Your many blessings and gifts each day.   Thank You for helping me see them and thank You for each one.  Thank You for loving me unconditionally and helping me become more and more like You.  Each day is a gift to be treasured and I thank and praise You for Your love that never ends.

Thank You Lord for this wonderful reminder today.  Thank You for reminding us that we need to be sure to keep You first in our lives.  How well I know Lord that when I do that everything in my life falls into place.  Thank You for showing us the way You want us to live our lives.  Thank You for helping us each day to trust Your plan for our lives.  We praise and thank You for reminders like this.  Thank You for filling us with Your love today.

Thank You Lord for giving us another day to love and serve You.  Thank You for showing us how much You love us.   Thank You for leaving this earth to go to prepare a place for us where we will live with You forever and ever.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love.  Thank You for Your peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for the wonderful life You are providing for each of us that love You and let You lead our lives.  Your plan for us is a perfect plan and we thank and prace You for loving us and allowing us to walk with You each moment of every day.  Thank You for helping us live lives that are pleasing to You and full of YOUR love.  It is Your love that transforms us and causes us to want to become more and more like You.  Thank You for preparing us to live with You for all eternity.  Blessing are ours because You are our guide and we thank You.  Thank You for helping us see all Your gifts and blessings today and every day.  We love You Lord and thank and praise You for loving us unconditionally.

Thank You Lord for always being with us to help us.  Thank You that we never have to doubt that YOU WILL ‘cause all things to work together for good.’  Thank You for being our ROCK and our COMFORT.  Oh, how blessed we are to KNOW You are ALWAYS with us.  Thank You for the promise that You will never leave us or forsake us.  We praise and thank You for our peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for ‘showing Your great love for us by sending Christ to die for us.’  Thank You for loving us unconditionally.  Thank You for changing us into Your likeness moment by moment and day by day.  Oh….how we praise and thank You today for the joy and peace that are ours because You loved us and died for us.  We love You Lord and thank You for Your many gifts and blessings.
