Thought For Today

(Jesus continued)  “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”  Luke 12:34

Lord in yesterday’s verse you asked us to sell our possessions and give alms.

Today You are telling why that is so important.

It is so easy to get caught up in the desires of this life that we forget what this life is all about.

Thank You Lord for this verse that goes with yesterday’s verse asking us to sell all.

Thank You for helping me see again that the more we have the more entangled in life we become.

Thank You that there is a solution and You are there to help when we slip back and become once again entangled in things that don’t matter for eternity.

Thank You that You are always there to lift me up and set my feet on the solid ground.

Thank You for the peace You give in following You.

Thank You Lord.
