Thought For Today

In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust without a fear. What can man do to me? Psalms 56:10 – 13

Lord how awesome it is when we truly get a glimpse of how powerful You are in our lives. You are there every step of the way. You know all about us and our shortcomings that need Your help and support. You teach us to trust. You teach us to have no fears. You teach us to rest in Your arms knowing You are watching over us. Thank You for each gift and blessing.

Thank You Lord.

Thou hast kept count of my tossings; put Thou my tears in Thy bottle! Are they not in Thy book? Then my enemies will be turned back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. Psalms 56:8, 9

Lord how wonderful it is to know that You are for us. You care. You are watching over us as a mother or father watches over their child. Thank You for always being with us. Thank You for loving us unconditionally. Today we have peace knowing that You ARE with us and watching over us.

Thank You Lord that we can trust in You without a fear. You are there. You love us unconditionally. Oh how we thank and praise You. Thank You for helping us see all the gifts that are in our lives today. We love You Lord and thank You.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in Thee. Psalms 56:3

Thank You Lord that we have You to turn to when we become afraid. Thank You for giving us the wisdom to trust You. This is a very unsettling world today. BUT…. in the midst of it all our hearts are full of peace because we are trusting in You. Thank You for Your peace today. A peace that passes all human understand. It is Your peace and we thank You.

Be gracious to me, O God, for men trample upon me; all day long foemen oppress me; my enemies trample upon me all day long, for many fight against me proudly. Lord how wonderful it is that we can trust in You. David knew how to trust in You. He faced many dangers and cried out to You for help. You were with him just as You are with us today. You gave him comfort just as You give us comfort today. Thank You Lord for being with us today during these difficult times for so many. Our trust is in You. Thank You for replacing our fear with Your peace and joy.

Thank You Lord for this beautiful promise. Thank You for taking our burdens and giving us peace. Thank You for Yours strength today. Our burdens are Yours Lord. Our trust is in You.

With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to Thee; I will give thanks to Thy name O Lord, for it is good. For Thou hast delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies. Psalms 54:6, 7

Lord there was much for David to be thankful for as we can tell by reading these verses. He even had victory over his enemies.

How wonderful it is to look back and see how our prayers were answered. Things we thought we would never be able to endure we look back and see Your faithfulness. We see how our prayers were truly answered. We like David give YOU thanks. We KNOW You were there to help us through each day. Today Lord there are those that are working through the trials of COVID-19. We have seen Your healing hand. We have seen Your comfort. We are praying for those that have been angels in the flesh helping and risking their own lives. Thank You for the wisdom You have given human minds to find a solution. We will soon eradicate this frightening disease and we thank You. Thank You for holding our hand and keeping our mind centered upon Your love today. We love You Lord and we thank You for Your peace in the midst of the storm.
