Thought For Today

Once for all I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. His line shall endure forever, his throne as long as the sun before Me. Like the moon it shall be established forever; it shall stand firm while the skies endure. Psalms 89:35 – 37

Lord we thank You for always keeping Your word. There are many promises in the Bible and they all continue to stand true today. Thank You for being with us today. Thank You for Your joy and peace. We love You Lord and thank You for another day.

I will not violate My covenant, or alter the word that went forth from My lips. Psalms 89:34

Thank You Lord that we can believe every word You have spoken. You came to earth and died for us. You rose again and have gone to heaven to prepare a place for us. No man or woman knows the hour when You will come back but we know You will come again.

Thank You for each promise that is ours to stand on.

I will establish his (David) line forever and his throne as the days of the heavens. If his children forsake My law and do not walk according to My ordinances, if they violate My statures and do not keep My commandments, then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with scourges; but I will not remove from him My steadfast love, or be false to My faithfulness. Psalms 89:29 – 33

Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness to David. You remained true to Your promises to him. Your love was always with him.

Thank You for loving us Lord. Thank You for being with us just as You were with David. You are here with each of us today and we thank You. There is NOTHING too hard for You.

And I will make him (David) the first-born, the highest of the kings of the earth. My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and My covenant will stand firm for him. Psalms 89:27, 28

Lord Your blessings and love flowed freely to David. Thank You for loving us just as much. Your steadfast love is with us today. Your blessings are ours for the taking. Oh how we thank and praise You. We are truly blessed.

I will set his (David) hand on the sea and his right hand on the rivers. He shall cry to me, ‘Thou art my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’ Psalms 89:25, 26

Thank You Lord that You are the Rock of our salvation. Thank You that You are our Father and our God. Your promises are here for us today just as they were there for David.

Thank You for being with us today. Thank You for Your peace and joy.

(Blessed are the people who walk in the light of Thy countenance.) The enemy shall not outwit him, the wicked shall not humble him. I will crush his foes before him and strike down those who hate him. My faithfulness and My steadfast love shall be with him, and in My name shall his horn be exalted. Psalms 89:22 – 24

Thank You Lord for all Your blessings. Thank You for verses like this that show us Your strength and Your power. Nothing is too hard for You and we thank You for the many times You have helped us through difficult situations. Thank You for being with us today.

Oh how grateful we are Lord that You are with us each day. Thank You for being with us today. Thank You for Your wisdom. Thank You for the joy that is ours for the taking. Thank You for the beauty of the earth. There is much to thank You for Lord and we do thank You.

Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of Thy countenance, who exult in Thy name all the day, and extol Thy righteousness. Psalms 89:15, 16

Thank You Lord that we can praise and thank You all day long. We ARE truly blessed. Thank You that we can ask You for strength and wisdom at any time of the day or night. You calm our fears and give us hope. Oh how can we ever praise and thank You enough. You are an awesome Lord and we praise You and thank You.

Lord once again we join in praising and thanking You for all You are. Thank You once again for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness. Thank You for always being with us to give us Your peace and Your joy.

O Lord of hosts, who is mighty as Thou art, O Lord, with Thy faithfulness round about Thee? Thou dost rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, Thou stillest them. Psalms 8, 9

Lord reading this verse reminds me of my father. His faith in You was strong. He would say over and over ‘nothing is too hard for the Lord. God does it all!’ He believe it and he lived it. He knew You were with him and there was NOTHING You could not do.

Thank You Lord for being with us each moment today. Thank You for the strength You provide. Thank You for Your peace.
