Thought For Today

When he calls to Me I will answer him; I will be with him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation. Psalms 91:15, 16

Lord how blessed and thankful we are that when we call to You we are answered. Thank You for Your salvation. Thank You for each day of our life that we are here. Thank You for a country that is free to worship You.

Yesterday Lord we gave thanks for those that lost their lives in battle. With grateful hearts we thanked those that are in the service or have been in the service to protect us. Thank You for Your protection for our country as we pray.

You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot. Because he cleaves to Me in love I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name. Psalms 91:13, 14

Lord I am so thankful I know Your name. I am grateful that at the young age of 8 I learned to trust You. I thank You for being my protector. You have been with me and I know You will continue to be with me throughout all eternity. Thank You for being my rock. Thank You for always being there for me to call upon You. I love You Lord and thank You for being with me each moment of every day.

For He will give His angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalms 91:11, 12

Thank You Lord for sending Your angels to ‘guard me in all my ways.’ What a comforting thought. We are certainly blessed and we thank You.

Lord once again this scripture shows us all how much You care for us and how You watch over us. Thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for always being with us. Thank You for Your peace and Your joy today. We love You Lord and thank You.

Lord I love this chapter. Thank You for showing us how You are looking after us and protecting us. It doesn’t matter what is going on around us You are right there with us. We have grateful hearts today as we thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for Your protection. Thank You for taking our fear and replacing it with faith. When we read scriptures like this we are assured that You are watching over us. Thank You for being with us today.

Lord how wonderful it is to know Your love for us knows no limits. We thank You for helping us be all You have called us to be each and every day. You are our shield. You are our refuge. You love us unconditionally. Oh how we praise You and thank You.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” Psalms 90:1, 2

Thank You Lord for being ‘my refuge and my fortress and my God, in whom I trust.’ Truly You are all of those things for us. You are available 24 hours a day to hear our requests and calm our fears. There is nothing too hard for You. Thank You for being with us today. This is the day that You have made and we WILL rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You!

Thank You Lord for this beautiful earth that we live on. Yes, it was all created and You saw that it was good. The diversity gives each person something to enjoy. Many of us find peace in just sitting outside. Gifts from You Lord and we thank You.

Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Psalms 90:1

Thank You Lord for always being there. Thank You for Your history we can read about in the Bible. I wonder what it would have been like to have been Eve and have walked and talked with You. BUT today You are right here with me. You are that same Lord that was with Adam and Eve. You love us just as You loved them. You have been here for all generations. How grateful I am for parents and grandparents that loved You.
