O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name, make known His deeds among the peoples! Psalms 105:1
Thank You Lord for being with us today. What a gift and privilege we have to know that You are with us today. We don’t need an appointment to visit You. You are here. You are watching. You are listening. You care. Oh how we thank and praise You. We are never without Your presence.

Lord how wonderful it is to be with Your people. People that love You and make it their goal to become more and more like You. Oh no we are not perfect but we want to be. We want to become more and more like You and love like You love. Thank You for those people in my life. They are a gift and a blessing. Thank You for being with us today. We love You Lord.

May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Psalms 104:34
Thank You Lord for all Your gifts we have to rejoice in. Yesterday we had a day of rest from our labors. Labor Day … whether working or retired is a day set aside to enjoy. A day to remember the many privileges we have been given. A day to thank and praise You for being our Lord. Thank You for being with us today in a very special way. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love.

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. Psalms 104:33
What a privilege it is to sing praises to You Lord. Something wonderful happens deep within us. Our hearts rejoice. Often when I am singing I have a wonderful sense of Your presence and a peace comes over me. Perhaps Lord … David felt that same way because he said he would sing as long as he could. Another wonderful gift from You Lord and we thank You.

Thou hast made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting. Thou makest darkness and it is night, when all the beasts of the forest creep forth. The young lions roar for their prey seeking their food from God. When the sun rises, they get them away and lie down to their dens. Man goes forth to his work and to his labor until the evening. Psalms 104:19 – 23
Thank You Lord for giving us such an orderly earth to dwell in. Everything worked perfectly when You created it. This chapter certainly has shown us that. Thank You for all we have been given to enjoy and take care of. What a joy it is and we thank You.

The trees of the Lord are watered abundantly, the cedars of Lebanon which He planted. In them the birds build their nests; the stork has her home in the fir trees. The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the badgers. Psalms 104:16 – 18.
Thank You Lord for these wonderful gifts. The other day I was looking at all the leaves on the trees and thinking how they appear in the spring and fall in the fall. What a cycle of beauty they provide. These are more verses that show us Your love for us by giving us so much to enjoy.

Thou dost cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth, and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread to strengthen man’s heart. Psalms 104:14, 15
Lord what a beautiful chapter where everything You have provided is spelled out for us to see the joy they bring in our lives. As we think of each of them we are truly grateful for all the abundances You have provided. Thank You for each of them Lord. We are truly blessed.

Thou makest springs gush forth in the valleys; they flow between the hills, they give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst. By them the birds of the air have their habitation; they sing among the branches. From Thy lofty abode Thou waterest the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Thy work. Psalms 104:10 – 13
And Lord we too are ‘satisfied with the fruit of Thy work.’ The Psalmist gives such a beautiful description of Your creation. It is here for us to enjoy. Thank You for the birds that sing so cheerfully. There is beauty all around us and we thank You.

Thou didst cover it (the earth) with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. At the rebuke they fled; at the sound of the thunder they took to flight. The mountains rose, the valleys sank down to the place which Thou didst appoint for them. Thou didst set a bound which they should not pass, so that they might not again cover the earth. Psalms 103:6 – 9
Thank You Lord for being in control of all that happened so long ago. Thank You for being in control today too. Last night after the violent storm with the strong winds blowing the trees nearly to the ground the rain came. Then with lightening still flashing and thunder still rolling across the river …. a beautiful rainbow appeared. Ahhhh….You are there in the midst of the storm Lord …. just as You are there for us in the midst of our storms in life. My heart rejoiced. I thanked You. … And I continue to thank and praise You today. You are here Lord and I thank You.

Who but You Lord could do such a wonderful thing. There is so much on this earth to enjoy. I’m so glad it is on a firm foundation and will never be shaken. Looking at the full moon shinning on the river has been a beautiful sight to enjoy. You have given us so many gifts Lord and we thank You.
