Thought For Today

In Him we too were made His heritage, as foreordained according to His purpose, who works out everything in agreement with the design of His own will, so that we, the first to put our hope in Christ, might bring praise to His glory.  Ephesians 1:11, 12

Thank You Lord for Your gift and blessing in making us Your heritage.  Thank You for the design that You worked out of Your own will.  Thank You for teaching us how to put our hope and trust in You.  Thank You by putting our Hope and Trust in You we ‘bring praise to Your glory.’  Thank You for the peace and joy that are ours because of Your design for us.  We have it all Lord when we follow Your perfect design for us and we thank and praise You.

In HIM we enjoy redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses to the measure of the wealth of His grace, which He poured out on us in all His wisdom and insight the secret of His purpose, according to His kind intention which He proposed in Christ, a plan to be brought to completion when the time fully comes, to bring everything together in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth.  Ephesians 1:7 – 10

Thank You Lord for Paul’s writing that puts everything You are for us in a nutshell.  Thank You for showing us from beginning to end Your wonderful plan for our lives.  Thank You for the many gifts and blessings we read in these verses.  Thank You for reminding us that earth is not our final resting place.  Thank You for preparing our heavenly home to dwell with You forever.  We are blessed just reading these verses and we thank and praise You for all You have done for us.

In LOVE He predestined us in Jesus Christ to be His sons, in agreement with the kind intent of His will, for the praise of His glorious grace with which He has freely favored us in union the Beloved.  Ephesians 1:5, 6

Thank You Lord for loving us enough to make a plan for our lives.  Your love calls us on to become more and more like You.  Oh, how we want to praise and thank You for all You have provided for us.  Thank You for dying that we may live.  Thank You for loving us so we have seen how to love.  Thank You for finding ‘favor’ with us and giving us ‘union’ with You.   Thank You Lord for all Your gifts that call us on to love You more and more and more.  Oh, how blessed we truly are and we thank and praise You.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly spheres through Christ, even as He has chosen us in Him before the world was founded, to be holy and blameless in His presence.  Ephesians 1:3, 4

Thank You Lord for Your tremendous love for us. Thank You for Your perfect plan for us to follow You and Your leading.  Thank You for giving us the choice to love and follow Your leading.  Thank You that as we follow You we are BLESSED with every spiritual blessing.  Today we can thank and praise You as we stand before You, ‘we are holy and blameless.’  We love You Lord and truly thank You for all You have and are providing for us this very moment.

The earth has yielded her harvest; God, our God, will bless us.  God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will revere Him.  Psalm 67:6, 7

Thank You Lord for blessing us today.  Thank You that ‘The earth has yielded her harvest.’  Thank You for the many blessings You have provided with the different foods we have to eat.  Thank You for the joy in watching the seeds grow into beautiful plants that yield their own special fruit.  Thank You for the trees and flowers that are there for us to enjoy.  All created because You love us and wanted to bless us while we walked this earth. 

My heart is full of praise and thanksgiving for all You have given me to enjoy.  Oh how I thank and praise You for each one of Your gifts that I can enjoy today.

May the nations be glad and sing for joy; for Thou shalt judge the nations upon earth.  May the peoples thank Thee, O God; may the peoples praise Thee, all of them.  Psalms 67:4, 5

Thank You Lord for showing us over and over that You are in control.  Oh how we praise and thank You for being in control.  Thank You for the privilege as Your followers to ‘be GLAD and SING for JOY.’  Thank You for blessing us as a nation.  Thank You for the many believers that are here in the United States of America that love You and worship You.  Thank You that we can meet and worship You as a nation.  Oh how easy that is for us to take for granted Lord, and we need to be reminded often of the joy it is to gather and worship without fear.  Thank You for our many churches and places to gather with other believers to rejoice in all You are providing for us.  We love You Lord and humbly bow and thank YOU.

May the people praise Thee, O God; may all the people give thanks to Thee.  Psalm 67:3

Thank You Lord for all You have done for us.  Thank You for teaching us how to thank and praise You.  Thank You for our ability to sing and rejoice with songs of praise and thanks to You.  What a blessing for us too when we gather together in churches to sing and praise You.  Thank You for the feelings deep within our souls that often become overwhelming with gratitude for all You are providing for us.  Thank You for Your peace and Your joy that floods our hearts and souls.  We can never thank You enough Lord for Your love that is unconditional.  Thank You for all Your blessings today.

God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, so that Thy way may be known upon earth.  Thy saving health among all nations.  Psalm 67:1, 2

Thank You Lord that we too can cry out to You to be merciful to us.  We too want to shine for You.  Thank You for hearing us and showing us how much You love us.  Thank You for walking with us each step of the way and showing us Your will for our lives.  We thank You for helping us keep our focus on You and all You are waiting to do in our lives.  Thank You for guiding us each step of the way.  We love You Lord and thank You for loving us unconditionally.  You are the potter, and we are the clay.  Oh how we praise You for all You are accomplishing in our lives.

Thank You Lord for helping us be a witness of all You have done for us.  Thank You for giving us the courage to share our experiences with others that need our encouragement.  Thank You for helping us shine for YOU.  Thank You for reminding us that we were bought with a price of love, and You are equipping us to love like You love…..unconditionally.  We love You Lord and thank You for all You are going to use us for today.

All the earth shall do Thee homage and shall sing to Thee; they shall sing to Thy name.  Come see what God has done; in His work He is awesome toward the children of men.  Psalm 66:4, 5

Thank You Lord for the many gifts You have provided for us to enjoy.  Thank You for the beauty all around us.  It is no wonder that over and over in the Psalms we hear the writer voice these praises to You.  It is a wonderful gift to appreciate all that You have provided for us.  Thank You for making each of us enjoy different things that are in our lives.  We are truly blessed by all You have provided for us.  It is easy to understand why ‘ALL THE EARTH SHALL DO THEE HOMAGE AND SHALL SING TO THEE.’  We too sing to You and thank You for loving us and giving us a beautiful earth to enjoy.
