Thought For Today

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.  Psalms 55:22

Thank You Lord for taking our burdens.  Thank You for reminding us over and over that You are there for us and will NEVER give us more than we can bear.  Thank You for the comfort that we have when we turn to You in the midst of the storms of life.  Thank You for giving us the peace that passes all human understanding.  We are never alone in this life Lord because You are always there to help us.  Oh how we praise and thank You.

Thank You Lord.

In the morning Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.  Psalms 5:3

Thank You Lord for ALWAYS being there to listen to us.  How wonderful it is to know You are always there listening as we plan our day listening to Your input.  Thank You for guiding and directing our lives in a way that is pleasing to You.   We love You Lord and thank You for Your peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for being our hope.  Thank You that we can trust You.  Thank You that I like the Psalmist have trusted You as a young child and continue to trust You today. 

Thank You for being with us today and every moment of our lives.  Thank You for Your peace and joy.

Our soul waiteth for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.  For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His Holy Name.  Psalms 33:20, 21

Thank You Lord for the confidence we can have in You.  Over and over as we have trusted You we have felt Your strength and seen Your power at work.  Truly our hearts do rejoice in Your love for us.  Thank You for reminding us over and over that NOTHING is too hard for You.  Thank You for reminding us that You love us and want the very best for our lives.  Thank You for Your peace and joy today.  We love You Lord and thank and praise You for our answers to our prayers.

Thank You Lord for Your peace.  Oh how blessed we are that it is always there for us.  Thank You that it is a peace that passes all human understanding.  Lord… we thank and praise You for Your peace today.

Thank You Lord for this verse that reminds us of the many blessings You are giving us each day.  Thank You for showing us how to live.  Thank You for creating us and then showing us what You want for our lives.  Oh….how wonderful it is to walk on the pathway You have designed for us.  There is peace and joy when we are on that pathway and OH how we praise and thank You.  And then Lord knowing that we will spend all eternity with You brings a joy to our hearts and peace to our souls.  Thank You for ALL You are doing for us this very moment Lord.  We are so, so blessed and thankful.

I asked the Lord for help and He saved me from all my fears.  Keep your eyes on the Lord!  You will shine like the sun and never blush with shame.  Psalms 34:4, 5

Thank You Lord for the wonderful insights these Psalms give us.  They tell us how much You love us.  They tell us how You love us unconditionally.  They give us guidance for our lives.  They show us what our lives will be like when we keep our eyes upon You.  Thank You for our many blessing when we trust You. 

Thank You for giving us Your peace that conquers our fears.  Thank You that we never have to fear because You always want the best for our lives.  AND thank You for shining Your love and light through us each and every day.  We praise and thank You Lord for Your mountains of blessings that are ours because of YOU!

Thank You Lord for reminding us to dwell on the FACT that all things are possible with You.  Thank You for ASKING us to bring our requests to You.  Thank You for knowing what is best for our lives.  Thank You for increasing our faith as we trust You for the answers.  We love You Lord and thank You for helping us through today.  ALL things are possible with You and we thank and praise You.

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Thank You Lord for this beautiful verse that shows us the strength we all have because we are following You.  Lord.. You have heard me say it so many times and I sure don’t seem to improve any ….waiting is not easy for me.  I certainly have to call upon You and ask You to help me wait.  I am so glad You are there to help me because in my own strength I would never be able to wait as well as I do.  The rewards are great for waiting …..our strength is renewed.  Thank You Lord for helping us through those tough times of waiting.  Thank You for Your peace and joy each day even as we ‘wait.’   You are ALWAYS with us and OH HOW WE THANK AND PRAISE YOU!!!

Thank You Lord that Your mercy endures with us forever!    Lord how well we know how good You are to us every day.  We see Your many gifts and blessings.  We know You love us unconditionally.  Thank You for being with us each moment of this day.  Thank You for the peace and joy that are ours because You love us and we can trust You.  Oh how we praise and thank You today.
