Thought For Today

A man’s spirit will endure sickness; but a broken spirit who can bear? Proverbs 18:14

Oh how true Solomon’s words are Lord. Our emotions are so fragile. Thank You for being there for us to pick up the pieces…..encourage us …..and help us survive.

We need You Lord and thank You that we can have the confidence that assures us that You will never give us more than we can bear. You are there. You care. You understand. You help.

Thank You. Thank You Lord.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. Proverbs 18:10

Thank You Lord for the safety we know we have in You.

How true it is that when we run to You we are safe.

Thank You for ALWAYS being there for us.

Lord once again today I want to focus on Your wisdom and Your knowledge for me.

Thank You Lord for reminding us thru Solomon that all we have and all we are come from You.

Thank You for the abilities You give us. And Lord…….thank You even more for those thoughts You bring to us when we ask You that help us to be more than we would ever hope to be.

Thank You for always be there and for the opportunity to come to You and know You better and better.

Thank You for money to help us survive.

He who is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys. Proverbs 18:9

Lord one of the gifts you blessed me with is to love to work.

There is something within me that allows me to want to help others in my job.

I have always been grateful for that gift because I was happy to be at work. Oh sure Lord there were many times I spent praying over unpleasant situations but the desire was always there to work. It has been an interesting journey with You by my side.

Thank You for that gift Lord. I am very grateful for it.

Oh Lord how wonderful it is to be with people that love You and look to You for guidance. There is a quiet …calming …….peaceful spirit that points us to You Lord. We feel Your presence and Your love.

Lord discernment is so important and I have often prayed for it.

Con artists are so easy to listen to and believe and they can easily lead you down a terrible pathway.

Thank You for Your internal guidance that is there when we ask You to guide and direct our paths.

You are there! You care! You hear us and answer. Thank You!

It is interesting Lord how one little thought can change us for life.

Solomon sure wanted his son to realize how important it was to listen to the wise.

Lord when I read verses such as this where Solomon was warning his son it makes me grateful for Your power to change us.
