Thought For Today

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have; for He hath said, I will never leave thee, or forsake thee.  Hebrews 13:5

Thank You Lord for this helpful reminder today.  How easy it is for us to forget what we have and want what we don’t have.  Thank You for reminding us that we have the most wonderful gift we could ever want….we have Your promise that no matter what happens in our lives You are ALWAYS there.  Oh…how blessed we are and we thank and praise YOU.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.  Numbers 6:24 – 26

Thank You Lord for blessing us, making Your face shine on us, being gracious to us and giving us Your peace.  Thank You for all these blessing we have when we turn our lives and our will over to You.  Thank You for helping us each day when we call upon You and trust You.  Thank You that nothing is too hard for You.  We are blessed beyond belief and thank and praise You for Your never-ending love for us.

Thank You Lord for Your amazing love for each one of us.  Thank You for providing a way for us to live with You for all eternity.  Thank You that Your plan for our lives was perfect.  Thank You for showing us the way each and every day.  We thank and praise You for Your unconditional love…an everlasting love ….that has no end.  Thank You for Your peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for a day when we can stop and remember our many blessings.  Truly we will bless You and thank You for Your lovingkindness.  Thank You for being with us each moment in our lives.  We love You Lord and thank and praise You for loving us unconditionally.  Thank You for picking us up when we fall and bring joy and peace to our hearts.  Thank You for the light that shines within us to encourage others we meet on our pathway.  All gifts from You and we thank and praise You.

Thank You Lord for Your peace within our hearts that make us want to pray and thank You.  Oh…how thankful we feel and thank You.  You are with us each step of our way helping us through each day.  Thank You for giving us Your strength and wisdom each day.  We love You Lord and thank and praise You today.  AND YES!  We ‘bless Your Holy name.’

Thank You Lord for always being with us to bring Your help when we need it.  You are the master of everything including us.  Oh how we thank and praise You for knowing all about us and just what we need when we need it.  You are always in control.  Thank You that fears flee when we look to You and trust You.  Thank You for being with us in this very moment to bring peace and joy.  We love You Lord and thank You.

Thank You Lord for being the light in our world.  Thank You that there is no darkness but only Your light shinning brightly for us to follow.  Thank You for filling us with Your love and compassion.  We love You Lord and thank You for shinning Your light of love through us today.

Listen to advice and accept discipline and at the end you will be counted among the wise.  Proverbs 19:20

Lord how blessed we are when we listen to You and accept what You are telling us.  You know us and love us and will always show us what to do.  Our faith in You grows stronger and stronger when we listen and obey and watch for Your miracles to unfold.  Thank You for changing us into the person You have made us to be.  We love You Lord and praise and thank You for another day to walk this earth with Your light of love shining through us.

Thank You Lord for helping us trust You.  Thank You for never changing.  Thank You for loving us unconditionally. 

How wonderful it is to come to You with our request to guide and direct our lives and KNOW that You WILL show us the way.  AND thank You Lord that You not only show us the way You guide and direct us and help us through the difficult times.  Your love for us is amazing and we know it is ALWAYS there.  Oh….how we thank and praise You.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.  Psalms 34:18

Thank You Lord that even our broken hearts and crushed spirits are known to You.  You are right there with us bringing us the comfort and cheer that only You can provide.  Truly Lord there is NOTHING too hard for You.  Thank You for knowing all about us and giving us just what we need when we need it.  I am often so amazed at how You work in my own life and the lives of others that love You.  Thank You for Your unconditional love today Lord.  I just can’t praise and thank You enough for Your gifts and blessings each day.
