Thought For Today

Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans.  Proverbs 16:3

Thank You Lord for knowing all about me.  Thank You for giving me the trust in You as I come to You with questions.  Thank You for guiding and directing me and helping me make the decisions that are pleasing to You.  Thank You for the privilege You give us when You remind us to ASK and we WILL receive.  Your plan is perfect for my life and I thank and praise You for helping me with each decision.  Thank You for Your peace and joy today as I look to You for answers.

Thank You Lord for the joy in knowing You and loving You.  Thank You for filling our hearts with Your living water.  Thank You for Your peace and joy that floods our hearts and calls us on to spend more and more time with You.  Thank You for prayer.  Thank You for the gift of others that encourage us along life’s pathway.  Thank You for helping us see each gift and blessing You are providing for us today.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.  2 Corinthians 13:14

Thank You Lord for this wonderful verse to think on today.  Thank You for reminding us of the joy we have when we let You have control of our lives.  Thank You for GRACE – Your unmerited gift to each of us that trust You.  LOVE – Your unconditional love that goes on for all eternity.  A love that never fails to see us through each challenge and each joy while we are here on earth.  A love that never fails.  We stand in awe as we feel Your love.  Thank You for the FELLOWSHIP of the Holy Spirit – You gave us a comforter to always be with us when You left this earth physically. 

Thank You Lord for helping us remember who and what we have in You.  Today our hearts rejoice because You are watching over us and taking care of us as only You can do.  Thank You for Your joy and Your peace today.  We love You Lord and are grateful for Your many blessings.

Thank You Lord for Your help.  Thank You for ALWAYS being there when we call out to You.  Thank You for loving us unconditionally and picking us up and putting us on Your solid foundation when we stumble and fall.  Oh what comfort there is in KNOWING You are always with us.  Thank You for Your peace and joy today.

Thank You Lord for reminding us today that You have everything in our lives covered.  Thank You for reminding us that we can relax and enjoy the day because You are taking care of everything we are worrying about.  Thank You for the peace and joy that is ours today because You ARE in control.  Your love for us is amazing and we thank and praise You for it.  We love You Lord and give YOU ALL the thanks and glory.  Thank You for helping us show others Your joy in the midst of the storms in life.

Thank You Lord for being our strength and our shield.  Thank You for the confidence we can have when we ask for Your help.  We KNOW that NOTHING is too hard for You and what a blessing that is as we continue to trust in You.  Truly our hearts do rejoice and sing Your praises because of Your love for us.  Thank You for being with us today.  Thank You for Your joy and Your peace.

Thank You Lord for the gift of Your presence with us every moment of our lives here on this beautiful earth.  My heart is full of gratitude that I came to know You personally as a child of 8.  I have had the privilege of walking with You all these years and enjoying Your peace that passes all human understanding.  Oh yes…..there have been…and will continue to be…. many things in my life I will never understand but I always know You are with me.  Thank You for Your unconditional love.  Thank You for Your peace.  Thank You for Your joy.  I love You Lord and thank You for walking with me each moment of this day.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart! I have overcome the world.  John 16:33

Lord yesterday we thanked You for Your peace and our hearts were full of gratitude.  Your peace is so awesome in the midst of the storms of life.  There is nothing on earth that can compare.  Today while still thanking You for Your perfect peace I couldn’t help but see so much more in this verse that I wanted to thank You for.  Yes….You remind us that in this word we will have trouble, but You are right there with us helping us through each event.  Today while thanking You for Your peace I want to also thank You that ‘YOU HAVE overcome the world.’  YOU ARE with us each step of the way.  You see….You hear….You answer!!!  Thank You for being our burden bearer.  Thank You for showing us the way and giving us Your peace and joy.  We ARE truly blessed, and we thank YOU!

Thank You Lord for this helpful reminder today.  How easy it is for us to forget what we have and want what we don’t have.  Thank You for reminding us that we have the most wonderful gift we could ever want….we have Your promise that no matter what happens in our lives You are ALWAYS there.  Oh…how blessed we are and we thank and praise YOU.
