Thought For Today

For the king trusts in the Lord; and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved. Psalms 21:7

Lord what a wise king this was. He trusted You and nothing could change his love for You.

Thank You Lord for Your steadfast love. Thank You that we too can be like the king and hold onto our love for You just as he did. You are always there for us. You were always there for the king. Yesterday, today and forever You are the same. Thank You for hearing our praises and thank You for hearing our cries for help. You ARE always there.

Yea, Thou dost make him (king) most blessed forever; Thou dost make him glad with the joy of Thy presence. Psalms 21:6

Thank You Lord for making us glad with the joy of Your presence. We too are blessed because we have You with us. This is the season we celebrate Your presence and the joy of Your birth. Thank you for coming to earth. Thank You for the hope and joy You provide for us. Our gifts are many Lord and we thank You.

His (king) glory is great through Thy help; splendor and majesty Thou dost bestow upon him. Psalms 21:5

Thank You Lord for Your splendor and majesty that You also give to us. This is a wonderful time of the year. It is a time to remember Your life as a babe in the manger full of love and compassion for us. The time of the year where our hearts are full of joy. We rejoice in Your birth and sing praises of Your coming. Our hearts are full of love and peace because You came……

He (king) asked life of Thee; Thou gavest it to him, length of days forever and ever. Psalms 21:4

Lord I love this chapter because it shows me how much You listen and how much You care. The king ask for life and You gave it to him forever and ever. I am so glad You love each one of us just as much as You loved the king that was asking. Thank You for the gifts You so freely give us without our even asking. What joy we have in knowing You Lord. Thank You for loving us.

Thou hast given him (the king) his heart’s desire, and hast not withheld the request of his lips. For Thou dost meet him with goodly blessings; Thou dost set a crown of fine gold upon his head. Psalms 21:2,3

Thank You Lord that Your blessings are the same today. You answered this king and You answer us today. Nothing is too large and nothing is too small. You care about each area of our lives.

In Thy strength the king rejoices, O Lord; and in Thy help how greatly he exults! Psalms 21:1

What a beautiful verse this is Lord. After reading it I wanted to put my name in it instead of the king. ‘In Thy strength I rejoice, O Lord; and in Thy help how greatly I exult You.’

Thank You Lord for Your constant companionship. You are always with me never leaving or forsaking as the scripture tells me. You are my strength. You are my joy. Oh how I praise and thank You for Your unconditional love.

Give victory to the king, O Lord; answer us when we call. Psalms 20:9

Thank You Lord for giving us the gift of prayer. Thank You for always being there to hear. What a comfort to have the opportunity to pour our hearts out to You and find the comfort that only You can provide. You are there! You hear! You care!

Thank You Lord that we can boast in Your name. Thank You that You are all powerful. There is nothing to hard for You and we praise and thank You.

Now I know that the Lord will help His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with mighty victories by His right hand. Psalms 20:6

It’s nearly Thanksgiving Lord. A time when we are counting our blessings. You have given us much to be thankful for. We live in a free country. We can go to our churches and worship openly. We can gather with family and friends to rejoice in our many gifts and blessings from You. Thank You for blessing us each day. We love You Lord and thank and praise You.

Thank You for the lessons we are learning as we pray and wait for Your answers. You are there. You bring comfort and joy. There is victory and we thank You.
