The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him. Psalms 28:7

Thank You Lord for the comfort this verse brings. David knew the strength You had provided in his life. He had trusted You and found You faithful and gave You thanks and praise.

Take me not off with the wicked, with those who are workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors, while mischief is in their hearts. Requite them according to their work, and according to the evil of their deeds; requite them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward. Because they do not regard the works of the Lord, or the work of His hands He will break them down and build them up no more. Blessed be the Lord! for He has heard the voice of my supplications. Psalms 28 3-6

Thank You Lord for ALWAYS hearing us. You have asked us to come to You and we certainly do Lord. Thank You for Your peace and joy. We are blessed.

Thank You Lord.

Amen

Lord it is Your power that gives us courage and makes us strong. How wonderful it is to know that we can depend upon Your strength. David reminds us to ‘wait for the Lord!’. Sometimes that gets hard to do Lord because we are people that like instant action. But wait we must because You know the right timing. Your timing is perfect and we thank You. You know. You care! You are there loving us unconditionally. Oh what comfort. Oh what peace You bring.

Thank You Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud, be gracious to me and answer me! Thou hast said, “Seek ye My face.” My heart says to Thee, “Thy face, Lord, do I seek.” Hide not Thy face from me. Turn not Thy servant away in anger, Thou who hast been my help. Cast me not off, forsake me not, O God of my salvation! Psalms 27:7 – 9

Oh how wonderful it is to know You are there for us Lord. You hear our cries for help. David goes from trusting You to wondering if You are there. He always comes back knowing You are with him. Knowing You are protecting him. Knowing You love him unconditionally.

Thank You Lord that You are the same God that loved David and You love us too.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies round about me; and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord. Psalms 27:6

Thank You Lord for victories in our lives. David is experiencing the joy in victory. Oh he tells us that the enemy was still around him and yet he had confidence in You. There were shouts of joy and singing.

Thank You Lord for the opportunity to shout for joy and sing. As we keep our eyes upon You there is victory in the midst of the storms. There is Your gift of peace as we trust in You. We know You are there and You will see us through. Oh how we praise and thank You.
