The wicked plots against the righteous, and gnashes his teeth at him; but the Lord laughs at the wicked for He sees that his day is coming. Psalms 37:12, 13

Oh to be like You Lord…..full of love and compassion. Thank You for the promise in this verse that tells us that the ‘meek shall possess the land and delight themselves in abundant prosperity.’

Thank You Lord for our great rewards for following You. There are so many rewards. We have a peace that passes all human understanding. We know we are going to heaven to be with You for all eternity. Oh how we praise and thank You.

Lord thank You for each moment we can be still and listen to You. David knew it was in those still moments that he heard Your voice. He was given directions and instructions when he stopped to listen.
How blessed we are today too when we stop and are still and wait to hear from You. Thank You for ALWAYS being with us.

Lord it is an amazing thing to watch You answer our prayers. David prayed and watched it happen in his life. Thank You for calling us to pray to watch it happen in our lives. You ARE there! You ARE faithful. You ARE the same Lord David prayed to. You heard David and You ARE listening to us.

Lord how wonderful it is to commit our lives to You. Once committed we have total trust in Your unconditional love for us. We know that You are in control. You love us. We know that when we pass from this life we will spend all eternity with You.

When one falls in love with You Lord they want what You want for their life. Joy floods their life.

Fret not yourself because of the wicked, be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass, and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy serenity. Psalms 37:1 – 3
Lord…David put a smile on my face as I read these verses. First he said, ‘fret not,’ …. and then in the end tell us when we trust You and do good we will enjoy serenity.
Thank You Lord for our serenity. Thank You that we can ‘enjoy serenity.’ How wonderful it is to know as we go through today that You are with us providing our serenity. Oh how we praise and thank You.

Humility is a true gift that we thank You for. I think that is what David is asking for when he said ‘Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me.’ After all Lord….all that we are or every hope to be is in Your hands. You give every one of us the gift of prayer. You love us unconditionally. You call each of us to come follow You. We are truly blessed and we thank You. You are our strength. You are our peace. You are our joy. We love You Lord and thank You for ALWAYS being with us.

Thank You Lord for Your steadfast love. A love that is always there. A love that is like no other love we could ever know or experience. A love that is unconditional.
