Pilate then called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, and said to them, “You brought me this Man (Jesus) as one who was perverting the people; and after examining Him before you, behold, I did not find this Man guilty of any of your charges against Him; neither did Herod, for he sent Him back to us. Behold, nothing deserving death has been done by Him; I will therefore chastise Him and release Him.” Luke 23:13 – 16
Lord we all know the rest of this story. We all know that in the end these men thought they won.
Thank You Lord for standing trial for us.
Thank You for all You endured.
Thank You for knowing why You came and what You would go through.
Thank You that even though there were those that tried to destroy You there was victory in the end.
Thank You for the victory we have in our lives today because of You.
Thank You Lord
