He who tills his land will have plenty of bread but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty. Proverbs 28:19

Lord…once again we see Solomon teaching his son that he must work if he want to have food.

It is time to harvest the corn and beans here in Illinois. The farmers are up from sun up to sun down working long hours to get the corn and beans harvested. It is for us they have planted and harvested. It is for them for their survival. That is what Solomon wanted his son to learn. He wanted him to work hard and reap the rewards of a hard days work.

Thank You for those that provide our food. There are a lot of people involved that are working extremely hard. Thank You for each one of them.

Thank You Lord.

Amen
