Thought For Today

And Herod with his soldiers treated Him (Jesus) with contempt and mocked Him; then, arraying Him in georgeous apparel, he sent Him back to Pilate.  Luke 23:11

Lord none of this was surprising to You.  You knew their thoughts and You saw their hearts.

Thank You Lord that You see our hearts and You know our thoughts.

Thank You that we can rejoice this Christmas season because You came to earth for us.

Thank You for these readings right now because while I rejoice in Your coming I can also understand what You went through while here.

Christmas means so much more when we realize who You were and why You came.

Thank You for the celebration of Your birth.

Thanks You Lord.
