Thought For Today

When Pilate heard this, he asked whether the Man (Jesus) was a Galilean.  And when he learned that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him over to Herod, who was himself in Jerusalem at that time.  Luke 23:6, 7

Lord we call this ‘passing the buck.’  Getting out of whatever we can get out of because we don’t want to deal with it.  Pilate found a way out so he could still please those that were trying to do You in.

Once again Lord I am so grateful that You knew the hearts and minds of those that were there that day.

Thank You for knowing our hearts and minds today.

Thank You for calling us on to become more and more like You.

Thank You for helping us obey You Lord because at times that is not an easy thing to do.

Oh how blessed we are and Christmas reminds us of Your coming to earth to give us the greatest gift of all.

Thank You Lord.
