Thought For Today

(Jesus continued) “For truly, I say to you, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you bear the name of Christ, will by no means lose his reward.” Mark 9:41

Lord there seems to be something about giving that blesses our souls. It doesn’t matter if the gift is forgiveness, compassion, money, time or any of the things on a long, long list – it all gives us a sense of joy in doing for someone outside of ourselves. What an awesome gift You have given us Lord and we thank You.
