And they (disciples) asked Him, (Jesus) “Why do the scribes say that first Elijah must come?” And He said to them, “Elijah does come first to restore all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that He should suffer many things and be treated with contempt? But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they did to him whatever they pleased, as it is written of him.” Mark 9:11 – 13
Lord as Your disciples were with You they were trying to figure out how many of the scriptures fit in with what was going on with You. They had many questions.
Today we have many questions also because we know You are coming to earth again. You have told us that we will not know when that will be. But the good news is we are ready and waiting. You give each of us the opportunity to wait with anticipation. You are with us guiding and directing our lives as we wait with anticipations for that wonderful day.
Oh how we thank You. Oh how we praise You. Thank You.
