Thought For Today

And over His (Jesus) head they put the charge against Him, which read, “This is Jesus the King of the Jews.” Matthew 27:37

Lord not knowing the rest of the story we would think Your title was a plus. But they were mocking You as if to say ….. Oh sure! This is your king…..look at Him now. He said He came to save You and He cannot even save Himself. I can hear them laughing at You and making fun.

But the story hadn’t ended with the cross. The best was yet to come Lord.

Oh how we rejoice that the victory was won. We have eternal life today because You came and died for us.
